"Wolcott Construction was exceptional on keeping track and in completing the project as they had bid. He made extra effort in keeping us updated on what his plans of action was from day to day was and was very honest with us on expense. We were happy enough with this project that we have asked for a bid on our roof. He tried to make it as comfortable as possible for us, since it was our only bathroom. He also used exceptional other resources such as tile layer, dry wall individual and plumber. They all were user friendly. <br /> I would diffinitely recommend Charles Wolcott for construction. I am very happy with his services."

"Bates Construction did an amazing job in our project! We had them shingle our roof, side the house, replace and wrap windows, and do a small plumbing job in our bathroom. They were there every day from start to finish, and there was great communication throughout the entire project! We have hired them to add a deck on to the back of the house this summer and have no doubt they will do a great job on it as well. Their prices and quality of work can't be beat!"

"The first unit was delivered in a timely manner. However, the carrier did not adhere to the shippers warnings about product fragility and the unit was received in a damaged state. The unit was sent back to Classic Copperworks for repair.  The repair was treated as a priority by Mr. Threadgill, who had the unit shipped back to me in three weeks. It arrived in good condition that time. <br /> Mr Threadgill was very helpful in providing support in order to finish our project. He even had a caulking product sent to us in order to help with flashing the unit. That meant alot. <br /> I am not a professional contractor, but was able to install the unit myself with his support. However, my profession does provide me the opportunity to serve the public and as such, I feel that I am more than qualified in commenting on good service. While Classic Copperworks may not be the cheapest provider of goods and services, they stand behind their product and provide great support. It requiress a "leap of faith" to order an expensive unit from an out-of-state provider with no prior mutual history, but I can attest to my complete satisfaction. <br /> WRS <br /> <br />"

FAQs for handyman service projects in Lexington, NE

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
