"Trevor and his crew had come and scoped the job giving us an estimate. After we agreed they were chosen to the work, we were given a starting date. The crew showed up on time and worked for two and a half days to prepare the area for the patio extension and build a beautiful retaining wall for the area that set back into the hill. The stairs to the front door were replaced with newly constructed rebar and structural elements that will last for many more years than the original stair that only lasted 24 years. The new stairs now match the full width of the front porch which now looks much more symmetrical. The pad leading up to the stairs was enlarged and lengthened. They came back on the third day and the concrete was poured and finished. When they finished the work they made sure they cleaned up the job site and left everything as it was before. Trevor and his crew did an excellent job and we are so happy with how the job turned out and we highly recommend them for any work you may need completed."

"Over the last two years, I used Lansberry Masonry a few times. They installed the limestone lentils above our windows, they have built a Belgium Block parking pod for our son’s car, and this year I gave them reasonably large project: to reset the entire brick patio around our pool. This job took Lee Lansberry’s small crew 3 months (4 people including Lee himself). They finished 2 days ahead of schedule and did a magnificent job. Every brick is not only reset perfectly, but it is also clean and bright (no fuzzy corners). I was not surprised. They came to work every day rain or shine before 8 AM and often worked past 4 PM. "Mike Isbir is great to deal with.  He listened to what I had in mind and made various suggestions to meet my needs. After the initial drawing, I wanted a few changes which he made with no problem. Since it was summertime, Mike admitted his schedule was pretty full, plus the fence had to be special ordered, so he was realistic about when the work could actually be done which I appreciated. Once the work was scheduled, Mike and his crew arrived timely and he introduced me to everyone. He then took the time to walk through the placement of everything with me and make markings that the crew could follow. Before he left the site, he ensured that I didn't have any further questions.  His crew completed the work as agreed and everything looked great. The company owner came to my house to assess the job. The man he sent out to refinish the floors was very respectful of me, of my house and was very detailed and careful every step of the way. He took great care to seal off the fireplace and he shut all the windows to prevent dust from being blown onto the floors, and this was during the heat of July. "I had a few concrete steps that I wanted to have repaired before an upcoming home appraisal. (Also, I was growing increasingly worried that I or my mail carrier were going to twist an ankle.) Because the job was a repair, I had a difficult time finding a company willing to come and give me an estimate. After many calls and either outright rejections or no callbacks, Ken from RJL called me and said he could come out the next day to give me an estimate. He was prompt and his estimate was fair, so I told him to go ahead and put the job on his schedule. He asked me when my appraisal was and worked to finish the repair job before that date. The work was only completed today, but it looks great (way better than the patches the previous homeowner used) and he paid great attention to detail in his work. He was efficient, respectful of my time, and genuinely concerned about the quality of the work he was doing. <br /> <br /> I've already recommended this company to a friend, and received some casual estimates from Ken on other concrete projects I need to complete around the outside of my house. "If you're looking for any sort of patio or retaining wall - do yourself a favor and hire Wall King. These guys were absolutely awesome!  If you want more details, continue reading. <br /> I contacted them late last summer as I first got the idea to complete this project, but wasn't sure what all entailed. I chose Wall King because of the meticulous detail they put into planning the backyard wall and patio. The level of detail and care they put into the plan was very impressive. I agreed in late fall to go through with the plan in the fall with the idea they'd start this spring and that's exactly what happened.  <br /> The communication was great and they let me know ahead of time when they could put me in their schedule, once the spring weather calmed down. The week before they started, they came out to go over the project again, which was nice.  <br /> Once they started the project, it was discovered the drainage system for my downspouts was basically nonexistent (some lines going uphill to nowhere, another just emptying into my neighbor's yard). That brought the project to a halt because I had to bring in a plumber to have all the downspouts correctly tied in and then drained properly. I felt horrible because that threw Wall King's schedule off a week or so while that problem was remedied. Wall King was great, though, and adjusted their schedule to accommodate for this major issue. <br /> When the plumbing issue was fixed, Wall King came back and finished the project. The wall was built and then a concrete crew came in to pour the patio and then Wall King came back to finish it all off. Once they were done, they leveled the side yard that had taken a beating from all the heavy machinery and then put down seed and straw. <br /> The wall and patio exceeded my expectations! Bill and his crew were awesome to work with and there was no nonsense or anything. These guys came in, kicked a$$ and got it done all while being pretty cool. They took a basically useless and troublesome space in my backyard and turned it into a huge asset. I can't imagine how much value  <br /> this added to my house.  <br /> I want to thank Bill and the guys for working with me, especially the unexpected delay to get the plumbing issue fixed.  <br /> It was just an awesome, hassle-free experience.  <br /> <br /> <br />"
