Locally owned and operated business, we do concrete, site preparation, excavation and demolition work. We go above and beyond to make sure work is completed and done professionally. We are a small company we as owners are the ones doing the work.

"It went smoothly exactly as Paul described the job. His crew installed a sump pump and ensured in drained to the curb. The crew replaced the drain run to the curb and dug around the existing bushes. The crew also connected the the roof downspout to the run to the curb.The crew installed a perforated pipe in a trench which created a floating basement floor on 3 sides of the basement. (the 4th wall was not necessary since was an interior wall.) They concreted over the pipe with a gap to the wall. they repaired and painted the basement walls."

"I have some level of disappointment because Acculevel was unable to lift the patio back to its original position. That being said, I think the challenges they encountered would have been encountered by anyone else, and some of the other one-man mudjacking operations who wanted to use buckets or wheelbarrows to carry slurry back to my patio probably would have given up earlier. I chose Acculevel because they use foam instead of slurry (which should last much longer), they had a 300 foot hose solving problems with access to the backyard (I live on a steep slope with retaining walls), and I had more confidence selecting them compared to independent one-man operations who do mudjacking. Their price wasn't the highest bid I received but it wasn't the lowest. I thought it was fair given the foam is a higher quality product. The crew actually arrived an hour early, which actually wasn't ideal but not a big deal (a call would have been nice). They worked hard and I suspect they were there much longer than they had originally envisioned. They did a nice job sealing all cracks when they were done with a high-quality crack filler which most of the mudjacking guys told me they don't do. The good crack filler can be messy and difficult to work with so this was a nice little bonus. Although they couldn't get the patio back to where it was, they worked hard to do the best they could without risking damage to the retaining wall. At least with the foam they use, I have confidence it won't sink anymore."

"It went horrible at first. The crews that worked on my siding and my concrete parking pad screwed things up so bad, the whole concrete pad (30'X33') had to be repoured, as well as the siding that was done. This job, which was told to me by their representative, should have taken 2-3 weeks. It has now gone over 3 months. But luckily, the estimator I was working with came through. He had new crews come out to fix the initial mistakes. Not in the most timely manner, but it still got done. All that being said, I could not recommend this company."

The job was done very quickly and the team was a group of very polite and hardworking men who are very good at what they do. Mitch is thorough and when two of the paving stones cracked, he came back and personally reset the new ones. Mitch also provided me advise for how I can improve the path next year. I would not hesitate to hire him again and will recommend his crew to others."

"He was on time and professional. Did a thorough assessment of the garage, driveway, foundation inspection walk around the house, and the basement. Finally, provided the scope of the garage work and a ballpark figure of the garage's floor slab total cost. Final report was available online within hours of finishing the inspection. He noted that once the garage floor slab was removed he could provide a structural slab drawing if required (for an extra fee). He is priced parity with other structural engineers."

We went with The Basement Guys because their price was less than half what the first company quoted and several hundred less than the second company. The second company offered a teeny discount if we signed a commitment to use them. We're glad we didn't accept the offer. The worker arrived on time, was very polite and got the job done in a very reasonable time frame. We would hire them again"
