"The project went smoothly. I had a short window in which to work as the furniture on our 1st floor was removed for another project. I set up interviews with a number of companies, received estimates, and Mike's worked out the best. They were honest about how the project saying that some old stains on the floors might not sand out; the stairs treads and risers would need to be sanded by hand, therefore would cost a bit more; and the wood used to patch would not exactly match due to age. All of this I understood since the floors were over 100 years old. They had their staff on site early on the day they said they'd start. They worked as quickly as the weather would allow and the project was completed within the time they expected. Its been almost two years and the floors still look great. I waited a while to make this review in order to see if the work would hold up and it still looks nice. Now I'm hoping for another big project in which the furniture on our 2nd floor will be removed so they can do those floors."

"Excellent Floor Installation & Staining Marcel and his Team did an excellent job installing and staining my floors! I recently purchased a condo and the floors were very creaky and not the color I wanted. After contacting Marcel, he quickly came to my place to give a quote. Marcel and team quickly got to work and provided me with regular and clear updates. My floors were fully replaced and stained within a week. The Team had to put in extra work as there were electrical conduits under most of my floors The floors now do not squeak at all and the stain looks great! "Highly Recommended! Exceptional quality work and exceptional customer service. I don't write reviews often and am not 100% satisfied with contractors often but this is an exception. I can't say enough about Calin and his team at IC Hardwood Flooring. From the start he was very responsive in answering my request to re-finish our hardwood floors. He scheduled an appointment to come and review our floor situation and made recommendations on the finish to use as we have a dog. The work was scheduled in a very short period of time and he worked within my schedule. Their prices are very reasonable and lower than other quotes we received. The floors looked like new when they were done and we have a very old house with old floors. They sealed off the parts of the house they were working on so dust and debris did not hit the other rooms. They cleaned up to perfection when they were finished with the job. This is the first time I used them and would use them again and recommend to anyone (as a side note this is the third time we had our floors done over the years and this was by far the best and only place I would recommend). Also to be noted we had a small issue that didn't show up right away after their work was complete. As opposed to some contractors that would put a past client at the bottom of their priority, Calin responded to our issue and they came and fixed it within days at no charge (even though it was months after the work was done). Again, can't say enough about their high quality work and service. If you are looking for any hardwood service they are your team and service many areas."

You can’t tell the difference between the old and new- the transition is seem less. The price was very fair. From start to finish they were neat, clean, quick, & dust free! My husband & I have a 1948 Cape Cod home with wood floors that were in dire need of attention. So much so I had lost hope of them coming to life again. In order to put our house on the market the floors really needed to be refinished.
