"Our house needed a new roof. I contacted American Custom Contractors, and am so happy I did. I was impressed from the beginning. David gave us an accurate and honest assessment of the job, provided information about materials, answered our questions, and helped walk us through all the insurance steps. Amanda helped us manage the paperwork for our project and again was alway open to answer our questions. When it was time for work to start, our project manager, Tim, really personalized our experience and authentically worked to make our experience good and our house beautiful. He helped us with the numerous issues that always come up with such a project, and made this process painless--making us feel like we were ACC's only customer. Edwin and his roofing crew were amazing! They quickly and efficiently replaced our old roof with a beautiful new roof. The attention to detail and craftsmanship ACC and their staff brought to our project were impressive, and I couldn't be happier with the result. I HIGHLY recommend American Custom Contractors! They are awesome! Thank you American Custom Contractors for making our family's home more beautiful!"

"Estimate was professional, very detailed and price was reasonable.  We selected another contractor, but <br /> would certainly  consider Wantz Construction for any future work.  Extremely satisfied with their presentation. <br />"

"The company has a nice selection of product and can tailor them to suit. I got an item near the top of the line. They matched the brick on my house pretty well. The site prep involved digging perhaps 30 inches into the ground and pouring a concrete footer. They let this cure for a few days and then a real brick mason came back for the final construction. There were a couple of minor niggling issues, which I let them know about, and they were out the morning of the next business day to take care of these, and were very pleasant about it at that. Nice way of dealing with a complaint. Many people have complimented me on this mailbox, and a couple of other homes in the neighborhood also purchased boxes from this company. They did a nice job for me and cleaned up well. Everything was done on time and as promised. They even hauled away the old, broken mailbox and post. I can recommend this company if you need a mail box, and in particular a higher-end brick model."

FAQs for handyman service projects in Little-orleans, MD

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
