"This is the 2nd time I have used Amaya, and they are definitely my first choice for new projects around my aging (built 1953) house. This time, we wanted a removal of a built-in desk unit in a badly designed closet in what is our guest room/TV room, a reconstruction of the previous closet space to be more usable, with shelving, bi-fold doors and a re-centering of the closet on the wall, followed by a complete room re-paint. . Felipe, the owner, showed up quickly to view the room & deliver an estimate. The estimate was reasonable, and we gave the go-ahead. It took about 5 days total to do the removal of the desk unit and re-build the closet and shelving in more rational layout. Felipe and his team are amazing. They show up on time every day, get to work immediately, and finished much sooner than I expected. We took a walk around the exterior and Felipe did a good job of pointing out issues of concern (cracks, window leakage, etc.) that are now our next project with them! "

"On 10/30/24 at 0800 hours Todd Bettger arrived to my home to perform gutter cleaning and repair services. He completed the job at approximately 1030. He assured me his job was 100% completed and the gutters were now in great condition. He explained my roof was very challenging and would cost an additional $25.00 to the total of $325.00. For his work I paid him $340.00 in cash. I was happy for his service and he left my home. On 11/01/24 at approximately 0900 hours, I noticed water dripping out of my backyard gutter above my awning. I was curious to why it was leaking and used my ladder to inspect the gutter. I immediately noticed a great deal of sludge and other debris in the entire gutter. It was obvious to me it was not cleaned properly. I was extremely disappointed when I discovered this especially after Todd assured me of his professional work. I used my own tools and removed/cleared out appropriately 10 to 15 lbs worth of left behind sludge. There was no way Todd could ve cleared the gutters clean. I then went to the next gutter on the backside and was completely shocked that this gutter was the same with a larger amount of sludge covering the entire gutter. I cleaned this gutter as well. I then inspected each additional gutter around the perimeter of my home….i was astonished to find more and more dirt and sludge. I cleaned all of the gutters and captured videos and photos of before and after. Trusting Todd and his assurances that he did a great job and my gutters were completed to a guarantee was the hardest part of his services. Todd lied to me and took my money with ease. After completing re-cleaning my own gutters i had called Todd to inform him of his unacceptable work. He denied and additionally lied more and more. He claimed my roof was extremely difficult and he worked hard to clear the gutter. I sent him photos and videos of my discoveries. He claimed that I had somehow set these photos and videos up to scam him for refund. He claimed his pride and great work is what I received. He also claimed that a short rain caused all of the sludge into the gutters from the roof. I also asked him about not fixing a leak at the junctures which required repairs. He claimed he forgot to take care of the repairs. This is my 1st time in using Angie s list and I was completely not satisfied. Todd ripped me off and should return my fee of $340.00. His work was shoddy, dishonest, and negligent. Please help me resolve this issue. Thank you Jeff Fiedler"
