I am not a contractor and Charles had much better ideas than I did for how to rearrange the kitchen. We went from thinking we had to move electrical panels and walls to a much simpler design which he believed would achieve the same end. It did. His ideas saved us tons of money. 2) He was the only person who came out and gave a care about our tree house. It was dangerous, needed to be dealt with and two other contractors came and stuck up their noses. 3) We were given options, some of which included sketches. There is more than one way to do things and he knows more than one way. Great good, better, best scenarios. 4) Smith allowed us to use our resources when we had them (I had a good electrician friend) and he did not look to mark-up workers that he brought in to drive up the price. 5) Smith cleans up and hauls away mess. Every day. Enough said. 6) Cost effective. Straightforward in materials and labor costs. 7) Smith Restorations went above and beyond for us and we just kept coming up with projects. We have many more to save up and budget for. We had a great experience. We would highly recommend Smith Restorations and repair for small or large jobs."

"Mike came out and had to redo a flower bed that the previous landscaper had filled in with clay instead of topsoil. All the plants had died from standing in water. He replaced the old "topsoil" with the real thing and replaced the camellias. He also had suggestions about what else what look good there and about proper irrigation."
