An inspector first recommended wall anchors, then later said I needed pylons instead?more invasive and expensive. I agreed, ultimately paying over $12,000. On installation day, the contractor was surprised a key room wasn?t surveyed, which was alarming. Groundworks also doesn?t repair drywall damage, so I paid extra for repairs. They promised a 6-month follow-up (included in the cost), but never scheduled it. I had to call multiple times, and even then they missed appointments without notice. I rearranged my schedule repeatedly for no-shows. Meanwhile, I delayed finishing my basement due to potential future damage. For the price, their lack of communication, reliability, and professionalism is unacceptable. I strongly recommend using another company."

It was a big chunk of money but we trusted that it would secure our house and be needed. While we were told that there could be increased cost based on the depth they had to go, we were not even close to expecting an increase of $14,000, which we were only told AFTER they had begun the process and we were not able to say no or decide on another option. This discrepancy between what was quoted us and what we were then told feels careless at best and dishonest at worst. With such a variable amount, it feels unprofessional to give such a low estimate and then expect us to come up with such a increase. "

"Hired Kinetic construction for a home addition and from the beginning it was a terrible experience. A timeline of 3-6 months was given by Jason. It took 3 over months just to get footings after several failed inspection attempts. I believe Jason hired non-qualified non-licensed contractors while he himself was unqualified to perform the work he quoted us for our home. We have had to live with crooked walls, sloped floors and uneven roof lines, he attempted to install incorrect and improper roofing on top of very poor installation and workmanship for our house which was incorrect as per manufacturers specifications and where he flat out lied to us about it. He tried to blow us off and lie to us about until I had proof and documentation, then he walked away from our project and?s still tried to bill us full price. Do not hire this company or person. I have many picture and documentation as proof of what he will try to get away with. "
