"We had few remodeling projects that we needed done for our home and from the beginning, our project manager, Jacob, did not disappoint us. Jacob and his team were professional, kind, and always took the time to discuss our needs about some changes we wanted to make. Jacob gave us many suggestions and ideas and we quickly got to work. We needed several things done on the inside of our home, but also in the backyard and front driveway. Jacob and his team transformed the floors, yard and driveway into a more modern, beautifully put a together work of art. Some of this work included making cement repairs and changing the driveway from stone to concrete. A bunch of the bricks in the yard were damaged and old and Jacob’s team could redo the walls and floors with the new brick color we selected. We could immediately see a difference as they payed so much attention to detail in lining everything up perfectly and we could tell that they had a lot of experience. "I usually don't use the cliche "we couldn't be happier," but we really couldn't be happier with our new paver driveway installed by Falkon. We solicited three bids from companies found on Angie's list. One estimate was really high. A second estimate seemed too good (low) to be true. Based on the Angie's List ratings, I expected Falkon to be about halfway between the two, but the Falkon was almost the same as the "too good to be true" estimate. After researching more and viewing the Falkon website which included past project photos, we selected Falkon for the project. Honestly, at first, I thought Val kind of rushed through the estimate/walkthrough, especially when compared to the experience I had with the other two contractors we spoke with. I'm not saying this to complain. I'm bringing this up to suggest that if you have a similar experience/feeling, don't let that scare you away. Val was always responsive to our needs throughout the decision-making process and the actual project. He never blew us off or made us feel like we were bothering him. Besides, what really counted was the execution of the project and the results. Both were outstanding. Val's crew appeared very experienced. They were punctual and professional. The progress they made each day was phenomenal. We have a pretty large driveway - approximately 1200 square feet with some curving on the borders. Day 1 - Demolished and removed/hauled away old asphalt driveway. Graded soil. Day 2 - Placed underlayments and compacted/graded again Day 3 - Placed all pavers - except for border. Day 4 - Placed bordering pavers and cut inner pavers meeting the border. We requested angled pattern requiring more (and angled) cuts. (By the way, we love the angled paver pattern. Worth the extra effort and cost.) Day. 5 - Filled in gaps between pavers. (about half day). Day 6 - Originally planned, but not needed because everything was completed on Day 5. We highly recommend Falkon Construction for any paver project you are considering."

"He provided the name of the engineer he would use for the structural considerations and the draftsman for the submission of plans to the City of LA for all permit requirements. As soon as the permits were issued he began work immediately. I was on site for the entire project and was extremely well pleased with the workers used, from framers to drywaller, all were excellent.  He kept me informed of all details and progress of the job.  The city inspections went smoothly.  Adam also offered decorating suggestions and referrals for flooring.  I will certainly use Adam for any future projects. <br />"

"First and foremost, Pete and his crew are all good guys, courteous, pleasant to talk with, and very hard working. No doubt about it, they know their stuff! Their concrete work is second to none. The finished product is some of the best I've seen. There were two minor issues. One, they damaged a Honeysuckle that was goring over the water spigot trying to access the water spigot. Partly my fault, Knowing how much water it takes for concrete finishing work, I should have pointed it out on the first day. I had to hack down almost all of bush/vines to free the wire trestle to bend the trestle back into shape. Also while they were rooting around for the hose bib they knocked off of the control box for my auto-watering system. A quick reconnect of the control box and all was well. The Honeysuckle has recovered nicely. So... Initially frustrating, in the long run, no harm. Two is he quoted me $3,800.00 for the job. On the day before the pour he told me he ordered a higher grade of concrete and asked for $200.00 more. Now, from my perspective (both professionally and personally) an additional 5.5% on a change order is not unexpected and reasonable so I said fine, no problem. That ate the tip I had planned on giving them anyway so it didn't cost me any more than I planned. And I got a concrete pad I can park an M1A2 Abrams on should the need arise. I highly recommend them. In fact, when I can afford it, I will call Pete back to do my driveway... This time I'll show him where the hose bib is from the front. :-)"
