"I called HomeX. Oscar arrived on Monday morning (on time). I asked if he would come in and take a look at the two drains affected by the stoppage. He did. I then asked if he had a wire long enough to reach through the branch to the main. He did. They has a special running for $68.00. He ran the wire through the line. The drain was cleared. Read on... Prior to calling HomeX I had called another firm. They came and attempted to clean the branch drain but failed to do so. They recommended hydrojetting and quoted a price of $1800.00. They "came down" to $1200.00 but based an past experience I was uncomfortable with the quote and the result of the initial work. By the way... I held a Journeymans plumbing license in the state of Massachusetts for quite a while and worked in the trades for 8 years. HomeX is a company that can be trusted and I would recommend them to anyone in need of this kind of service work."

"I hired Make it Drain to fix my leaking toilet because my regular plumber was unavailable. I spoke with the main office and was told that a repairman would be at my house within an hour. After an hour and with no repairman in sight or call to explain his absence, I called the office back. I was told that the repairman had to get a part and that's why it was taking so long. The repairman finally showed up two hours after my initial call and promptly left again to get another part -- for which he added an additional $50 to the original quote. The work was completed and they did come back the following day when the toilet still wasn't fixed. But they could not detect any problem and left. The best thing about this experience is that it has renewed my already-considerable confidence in my regular plumber. Should I have an urgent matter in the future, I will wait until he is available. He is more reliable than Make it Drain (he comes when he says he will) and he is much more reasonably priced."

Called them the next day and they came out and snaked again, under the warranty, and started draining fine. During the process it was recommended that I may want to replace tub drain because it was old. Tony came out a few days later, provided an estimate, and 2 days later his team was here to do the work. What I liked about them was the communication with Angie at the office, their punctuality and customer service in general. That means more to me than the actual work. I have to assume they did good work but I'm not crawling under the house to find out, and, it's not my area of expertise anyway, so fingers crossed. Everything seems to be working great.
