"This is my 2nd project. First was circuit breaker upgrade and outlets. Zach did a fine job. Today we had outside panel, grounds and home surge protector. Dan Z was out service pro and did a great job. Explained issues, installed and tested all. The entire team works to ensure all issues are found and corrected. I trust their knowledge and abilities. Everyone we have come in contact with at Mr Electric has been kind, courteous and professional"

"Third time wasn't a charm, unfortunately,
Immediately after Mr. Harvey left I turned on the overhead light, plugged in the vacuum and 'pop' goes the breaker for the master bedroom. And it kept happening.
So I left a voice mail message the next morning.
And afternoon.
And late afternoon.
And then an email through Angie's List.
No response for three days and unable to use anything electric in the master bedroom (computer, telephone, stereo, lights).
So I called South Baldwin Electrical and they were out within two hours.
Made a few adjustments in the three-pole wiring and everything is fine.

Still have the crooked closet light installation with the 2" gap between the base and the glass panes but I'll deal with that later.

All this could have been avoided if Mr. Harvey had responded to any of the messages.

"Matt was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. He explained our electrical problems and repaired them for a reasonable price. He was also very kind and we look forward to using him for two other projects in the near future. Thank you so much Matt for putting our minds at ease! 👍"

"Very well. I can already tell an improvement in the amount of heat that was being generated inside my home from the ceiling. Three attic fans were installed on the roof to replace three vents that just wasn't getting the job done. Thank you so much."

"Everything went perfectly. I really like it when people arrive when they say they will and he did! He had everything he needed to do the work and did it very efficiently and well. I could not be happier. Among other things he changed 4 light fixtures for me and I love the finished result. Not only is he an expert electrician but he is a wonderful human being to do business with. He answered all of my questions. He helped me get my lights just where I wanted them and took his time and let me “look” before he installed them. I will definitely be calling on Craig again and my mother has a project he is going to do next. Thank you Craig for all of your help and for making this a great day for me! Thank you, Angie for your recommendation. It was perfect. Vicki Magee November 4, 2021"

"I put in my claim with choice home warranty and CHW setup an appointment for/with Demond electric company The technician arrived I paid the required service fee charge (the service fee varies per state -i have used CHW in 3 different states and the service fee was affordable for the 3 different states) The Demond Electric technician Paul was very very professional, polite, knowledgeable and did a great job."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Long Beach, MS

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
