I did my homework before I went with Luigi.  He wasn't the most expensive nor was he the cheapest. 
His price was fair and he did the right thing.  He didn't try to take shortcuts or shortchange me.  I've seen my fair share of shady contractors in the past.

Luigi was there every step of the way.
He was courteous, professional and he took care of the work with pride.  It has been over 4.5 months since his work is completed.  My DOT violation has been dismissed and my concrete looks great.

I'm really happy that I chose him and will definitely look forward to hiring him for future concrete/masonry services.

"My regular mason retired and I hate finding a new contractor. I took a shot and called Long Island Mason and Concrete. The owner arrived within an hour, we looked the job over. Large shed I'm replacing and I wanted a slab. He then offered to do the shed demo and haul it all away. The total quote was very resonable so I said, "do it". He asked when I wanted it done and I said ASAP. I got a call a day later telling me they would be here tomorrow. Great crew arrived at 8:00, demoed the shed, hauled it away, cleaned and leveled the area, installed the forms and poured. They were done and gone by noon. I now have a new Mason and I'm thrilled to use them again for upcoming projects in my family."

We hired Tony and Torres Contracting after a lot of due diligence. Tony is a busy man and communicates efficiently by text. He and his daughter addressed all my questions and concerns by phone, email and text. Further the team was excellent- including Juan, Edwin and several others— honest, technically very good and incredibly hard working especially in very hot weather! Torres Contracting was fair on pricing, the project was done in a la efficient manner and the work product is excellent. "Martinez Brick came the following day to inspect my “3 sidewalk squares” for replacement. He told me the 4th one should also be replaced, as it was elevated. He gave me a price for 4 squares that was less than a competitors price for 3. Then he said that he would cut $400 off if I could do it “this Saturday”, a date at his convenience because he had a job close by. I said “great!” It rained Saturday and he couldn’t pour cement in the rain. He said “I’ll be there Tuesday”, and I’m honoring the discounted price. Okay. Monday night he called and said he will come Wednesday for sure because he doesn’t want his workers pouring cement in 98 degree heat! I like a boss who cares about his employees. He came on Wednesday and did a PERFECT job!"

"We needed our gutters replaced and called Sergio based on previous reviews. First, he came to give an estimate the same day that I called. The work was done the next day. The job required additional time since the wood that the old gutters was screwed into was completely rotted. Sergio changed the wood and made sure to show us at this stage of the job. Sergio came with his sons who were extremely nice, polite and helpful. We now have new gutters with new wood underneath for a fair price! All work was completed in the same day.
