"We couldn’t find the trip outlet to reset some of the upstairs outlets . Isaiah found it in the basement buried behind insulation. Our master bath shower had no light, so Isaiah installed a recessed light for it. The garage only had the one bulb, Isaiah installed two florescent light fixtures. All of the work the Diagnostic Guys do is reliable, on time and priced below their competitors. I will definitely use them again!"

"Better than perfect. We had a prefabricated home with a complicated issue. Avery brainstormed to come up with a suction that didn't break the bank. I so appreciated his out of the box thinking and dedication to finish the job before taking his next job as it took a lot longer than I expected and probably for him too! I have referred him to my real estate agent as a good company t a couple for electrical needs! Tha.k you Avery!"

"The guys that came out to install my new AC unit, Kevin, Kayden, Collin and Larry, were all amazing. They were super nice, professional, and honest. They worked with me to put the AC unit in an area we wanted and the work looks professional and tidy. They showed me all their work, explained everything and all the safety features installed. I bought a nest thermostat that I wanted to upgrade to and the guys helped me install and set it up. I will def be using this company for all my future home needs. Thanks guys!!"

"Highest recommendation. Adam provided very timely communication, answered all of my questions and was very easy to work with. The job was done very professionally and completed within the time frames as promised. Adam and Kenny (the owner) provided excellent customer service. Very competitive and fair pricing. Great experience and I will definitely use them again in the future. They replaced the master electrical panel, installed new lighting in the basement and did additional rewiring."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Longmont, CO

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
