"Eli was very friendly and easy to work with for setting up the project. They were very transparent with their pricing and were able to get me a quote within a day of inspecting the house. They were also able to schedule the work within a week of the quote and got the work completed in under three days. They completely removed the old roof as well as a substantial amount of rotting plywood underneath and replaced everything with brand new wood and shingles. They also installed a new skylight and metal sidings and flashing and little additional cost. Would highly recommend working with them and would hire them again in the future."

"I had J&P replace the roof on my home, and it was a professional and positive experience from start to finish. The process began with an estimate provided directly by the owner. Shortly after, a crew arrived who were polite, knowledgeable, and professional. They cleaned up their work at the end of each day and completed the roof a day earlier than planned. They even walked around the house to make sure no debris had fallen during the job. The project was followed up by one of the owners, who came out to inspect the work and give final approval. Overall, I’m very impressed with the quality of work and the level of professionalism throughout the entire process."

"Specified with Home Advisor that I wanted "repair work" for siding. DaBella contractors were pleasant and politely avoided the hard sell when they understood my position and the scope of the work required. They advised that they don't do repair work, only replace full sides or replace siding and trim of entire house. I had this same problem with "Angi's List" and my roof repair project, Angi sent me out full blown contractors who wanted to replace the entire roof. Now Angi and Home Advisor are one the the same. I consider this as an annoying strategy on the part of Home Advisor/Angi etc... to put large contractors on at the top of the quoting list when a customer (me) is looking for repair work, only to be confronted with well seasoned sales people bound and determine to turn my small project into a multi-thousand dollar unnecessary install. Good thing I spent 16 years managing a customer service and sales team otherwise I would be broke. I give DaBella a 4 for knowing when to stop talking and Home Advisor a 1.8 for applying marketing strategy over the needs of their paying subscription customers (Me)."

"The sales person did a good job explaining the work needed, what they would do, and provided a clear estimate. I purchased the plus package with ridge vents. The crew did a good job removing and installing the new roof, boards, and skylight. We had an issue with too much oil on a packag or two of the shingles which created an interesting look on my roof. We worked through the issue by holding payment for that part of the work until the oil faded (a few months). It has been about a year and the roof is doing well."

"Highest recommendation! We have had C & C do repairs and full roof replacement at several properties over time. They have always been on time, courteous, priced well and professional. C & C has repaired roofs on short notice and been very straightforward about condition/ replacement need. They even advised us to hold off on replacement after a leak, as repairs would be good for several years more. They are responsive to calls and clean up after the work was excellent. When full replacement was necessary, the work was done as scheduled and the estimated cost was fully explained and accurate."

"I cannot speak highly enough of Tom and Brad Green of Colonial Restorations. We have lived in our antique house for 16 years now, and like most old homes, some of its previous repairs were good, some not so good. Tom Green worked on this house for its previous owners, and his work was, by far, the best in the house. So, we continued to use Colonial - Tom, then Tom and Brad - as we learned the ropes about caring for an old house - our first house, old or new. Over the years, they have replaced sills and posts and beams, and rebuilt parts of our loose stone foundation. Most recently, they replaced the last original posts in our basement, (one of which was a tree trunk still with bark on it), including pouring new custom footings, in advance of our finally cementing the dirt floor. The work here is never easy - nothing is level, nothing is square - but the Greens' end result has always been beautiful - strong and made to last. Their prices are fair and without hidden costs....maybe not the lowest bid you might get, but you know it's a real bid that they will stand behind. They triage projects for us, giving us an idea of what other items will likely need attention in the next few years. We're not done with this house yet....we've never won the lottery, and there's always another repair..... and plan to use them again soon. I feel confident knowing that the next owners of this house, whoever they might be, will see the quality of the work and know that we cared enough to have the right people help us with the ongoing repair and maintenance of a 275+ year old house.
