"Eli was very friendly and easy to work with for setting up the project. They were very transparent with their pricing and were able to get me a quote within a day of inspecting the house. They were also able to schedule the work within a week of the quote and got the work completed in under three days. They completely removed the old roof as well as a substantial amount of rotting plywood underneath and replaced everything with brand new wood and shingles. "Specified with Home Advisor that I wanted "repair work" for siding. DaBella contractors were pleasant and politely avoided the hard sell when they understood my position and the scope of the work required. They advised that they don't do repair work, only replace full sides or replace siding and trim of entire house. I had this same problem with "Angi's List" and my roof repair project, Angi sent me out full blown contractors who wanted to replace the entire roof. Now Angi and Home Advisor are one the the same. I consider this as an annoying strategy on the part of Home Advisor/Angi etc... to put large contractors on at the top of the quoting list when a customer (me) is looking for repair work, only to be confronted with well seasoned sales people bound and determine to turn my small project into a multi-thousand dollar unnecessary install. Good thing I spent 16 years managing a customer service and sales team otherwise I would be broke. I give DaBella a 4 for knowing when to stop talking and Home Advisor a 1.8 for applying marketing strategy over the needs of their paying subscription customers (Me)."

"I received a quick response from Clear Vision late fall in regards to replacing my roof. At that time they were booking 8-12 weeks out with my job expected to begin end of March or early April. I received a call early February and due to a winter that had been dryer than normal to this point they were able to start mid February. The materials were delivered on Valentines Day and they began the next day. The total time to tear off and replace my roof was a day and a half. Brad shored it up for the winter with an array of jacks and an enormous chain to ensure the thing wouldn’t fall down till they could return in the spring. Come spring, they fully replaced the damaged section’s support members and facade, and added bracing to the attic, rendering it stronger than before. Foundation support: The sagging beams and jerry-rigged support columns in the dirt basement of our 18th century house were inadequate. We own an older home in the Garden Home area and our house is surrounded by 150ft fir trees that are constantly dropping needles on our shake roof. Over time this has caused deterioration resulting in the need for constant cleaning. Over time we have experienced leaks. Finally the decision was made to replace the shake roof with a composition material. After multiple roofing companies all recommending a complete roof removal and replacement with new improved product, and costing between $10,000-17,000,  the decision was made even though the cost seemed very high, to do the project

Since John also does roof replacement, I will be reaching out to him to when the time comes to replace the roof.. "Ivan and his crew tore off the old roof and replaced it with a vastly superior product.  I have a low slope roof prone to leaks in valleys and around the flashing.  The new roof provides needed ventilation in the crawl space and enhanced air circulation for summertime temperature mediation.  Ivan's crew was on time and worked hard during tough weather conditions of rain, ice and wind.  Through that they got the job done on time.  Their equipment was first class, the men were all polite and all worked hard.  I recommend anyone considering a roof replacement or repair to strongly consider Ivan and his team at JS Roofing.
