"Andrew from Rock Solid Renovation and Repair did a great job on refacing my kitchen island. Andrew wrote up a very detailed estimate and he explained everything to me. Andrew was very professional and very thorough. He worked diligently to finish the job and always cleaned up his work area. I would highly recommend this qualified company, I was very satisfied with the work and I look forward to working with this company/Andrew again."

"The technician arrived on time, after calling first to let me know he was on his way. He was able to make adjustments to a fairly old automatic garage door opener and was able to fix the problem. I appreciate the fact that he did not try to sell me a new opener before trying to fix the problem. He explained that it was an old system and might eventually need replacing, but he also suggested that, since I don't park my car in the garage, I could also just open and close it manually, should the system fail. That's when I really appreciated the great service. First, he adjusted the springs at the top of the door to make it easier for me to open the door by hand in case the mechanism stopped working. Then he oiled all the joints. I also asked him about how to change the seals on the door and the floor to keep rain and snow out, and he told me what to buy and how to install them myself. He also advised me to have a support strip of metal added to the door to keep it from sagging. There's no question about calling them back to do that for me should I decide to do it. I will definitely use them again, should the system finally conk out, and I'd have no hesitation about recommending them to friends. Great customer service from a very knowledgeable technician.
"

"The service was excellent! They arrived to pick up the vehicle a day earlier which was great. They delivered the vehicle right to my daughter's door and found a side street to unload. The service was delivered within the time frame given. All of my questions were answered via phone or email and the paperwork was seamless and the price was very reasonable."

"The quality of the countertops, fit and installation met all of our expectations. We are pleased with everything that related to the materials and installation. I would recommend Strahle Tile & Granite without reservation, but explore all of the "deals" or offers included on their web site as well as any offer on Angie's List to make sure you get the offer that suits you best. Any glitches?---
only one---we also bought a 60/40 sink from Strahle that was surrposed to be 2" shallower on the right sink, but the sink installed was the same depth both sides; however, this was a small issue.
"

"
Problem: 2 car garage filled with boxes and furniture from recent move.

Goal: Make room in garage for car before winter; move some furniture items into the house.

Solution: Fabian and Steve accomplished everything necessary in two hours including: assembling shelves, moving smaller boxes to shelves, re-stacking larger boxes, moving half dozen larger items (exercise bike, cedar chests, lounge chair, etc.) into house.

Comment: My helpers were very efficient, as I knew them to be from a previous move. They work hard, fast and are careful not to damage things or create a mess. I certainly plan on using them again in the future.

"

"It took a long time. That was frustrating. But, there was a lot of work to do. Over the course of the work, they pulled out massive amounts of demolition debris, carpet, and rock. There were long periods of time when it was hard to imagine that it would ever be done. But, it continually moved forward, and every week the progress was visible, and more often than not, amazing. It was not possible for me to completely envision the end product, and I worried about it a lot.

The stairs project turned out to be the hardest, since code regulations ended up forcing them to be much larger than we at first believed. Note that prior to Justin making his initial estimate, two other contractors had already estimated what would need to be done here, and they both underestimated the final size even more. This involved a lot of revision of the project, and did increase the cost, due to unexpected rerouting of plumbing and gas, and ultimately, caused me to make the decision to redo the floors. Despite the unexpected pain of these changes, Justin helped us through, and performed the changes admirably, and ended up with a final product that now feels like we lost nothing in the process, but gained beautiful improvements.

Through it all, Justin and his partner Tim we professional, courteous, communicative, and in many ways went our of their way to improve upon the initial plans that I had made. Where another person might have simply cut the easy corners, Justin saw to it that the job was done better than planned. This included demolition and removal of unexpected and quot;outcropsand quot; of granite and basalt that previous builders had simply built around. Furthermore, one of the most impressive things that I saw Justin do was pull in other subcontractors that were highly qualified and professional as well. In this, Justin was like my own personal Angie's List, because he saw to it that the other work done, from the plumbing/electrical, the flooring, and even the repairing/resetting of the carpet after all the other work was done, was the highest quality. It was clear that Justin's skills are extensive, but he will not hesitate to have work that is not in his area performed by the best available people.

I cannot understate this seemingly small effort too much -- how many times have you had work done by someone who was less than skilled in a particular part of that work, and yet did it themselves and turned in a substandard job anyway, rather than either tell you that they could not, or get someone who was capable to do it. What Justin did was to see to it that every aspect of the work was done the best it could be, by pulling in the best possible people for the job, which for the main work of course included himself.

Justin also took initiative in much of the remodel process, added improvements that I never even considered. From the countertop in the kitchen, to the improvements to the bathroom design, up to his last day on the job, when he handcrafted a complex and continuous stair railing, he took the extra steps to make the end result better.

When they were done, they cleared up the place so that areas that only a week before were massive piles of debris to areas that left little evidence that they had been there.

We are very happy with the new bathroom, and everything in it has turned out as good or in several instances better than we could have hoped. The new staircase is beautiful, and the new oak wood floor is outstanding."

"Handyman had problems installing a chandelier in kitchen (t would fade out when set at higher brightness), two exterior light fixtures which caused the interior lights to not come on correctly. This caused a shorting out of the wiring. They replaced two additional fixtures and helped me change burned out bulbs on the highest exterior sensor lights which help light the way as there are skunks, bears, elk and foxes which frequent our property.
The guys came out, Troubleshot the the issues the morning I called them, they replaced additional sensor lights on the exterior of the house for us.
Repaired the Exterior Trip for House which my husband installed backwards and got it working correctly.
Fast and efficient work by two men.
They did a fantastic job.
I would highly recommend them.
Very happy customer who will use them again!
"

"Very professional. He was punctual and called me to let me know he was on his way and how long it would take him to get to my house. When he arrived he started right away by asking where I wanted the playset. Very knowledgeable. I was kept informed throughout the assembly on problems or questions like the sprinklers and tree branches. The crew was also very professional and finished just under 4 hours. When finished, I was given a full walk through of what was done and explained the warranty and playset maintanance. I would highly recommend their services."
