"These guys did an excellent job and I'd rehire them in a heartbeat. Fermin Ortiz is the owner and is very friendly and conscientious. He was on the job everyday with 2-4 of his crew. The job required just over 3 weeks to complete our 2800 sq ft townhouse. This included painting the indoor garage (including the floor), painting the outside portico over our front porch, and some concrete near our basement steps. Job required repair and patch of nail pops, repair larger holes in drywall, repair old joint tape. Two coats of paint and primer when required. Showed up every morning at 8:00 and worked until 4:30. Part of the higher price was due to my requirement to remove all light fixtures, switch covers, receptacle covers, smoke detectors, and door hardware before painting. Everyday they covered our furniture with plastic sheeting to help keep it clean, then cleaned up/vacuumed the floors, and even moved all furniture themselves as they moved around the rooms. They also worked 6 days a week when requested to get job done on time. I have hired too many contractors in the DMV area that didn't do a good job. I was lucky to find these guys. I highly recommend this company."

"Jillian was absolutely fantastic to work with!  She is an amazing talent and one of the hardest workers I have ever met.  First, she was very responsive to my inquiry and subsequent calls.  Very nice change from other contractors that I contacted for my renovation project (they were not hired).  She went well above and beyond what I expected.  She helped me pick out all the colors and even met me at Lowe's to help pick out matching tile!  She also took the time to meet with my daughter to determine exactly what she wanted on her walls.  Additionally, she made an extra trip a month after she was complete to paint my baseboards (installed later due to flooring replacement), even though I said I didn't expect her to do that. <br /> One quick anecdote.  I had a huge pile of flooring that was in the way of her setting up to paint the living room ceiling.  I told her to let me know when she needed it moved and I would get it out of her way.  She is petite.  She works alone.  I checked in a day later and the wood was moved and the ceiling painted!  <br /> I can unequivocally recommend Jillian.  Her professionalism, artistic talent, and work ethic are all excellent. <br /> <br /> <br />"

The procedure was explained at great length so I had comfort in knowing what was going to happen and the approximate cost, the time length and all that was involved in the process. The company is on call 24 hours in case you need someone to come out. Response was amazing! The 2 project managers Garrett and Keith were very informative and were available with any questions along the process. The two guys Ben and Edwin were very courteous and did an amazing job. "<p>This contractor is every woman's dream.  I work full time, and every day I came home to more progress and no mess!  They clean up after themselves each and every day, install barrier curtains at all entries into other parts of your home.  Construction debris left outside is picked up within a day or so.  They bring a Porta-Jon to your property, so no one is using your private bathrooms.  Very few days passed without some work being done on the project.  The estimate did not include unexpected rot around our four kitchen windows.  Drew Devine, the project manager, brought a window company expert to our house and, after determining what brand and style of replacement windows we wanted, gave us an accurate estimate for the windows and labor.  This was the only change order to our original estimate.  Drew mistakenly assumed we wanted windows with grilles to match the remaining windows in our home.  We did not because we use plantation shutters in our kitchen windows and had removed the grilles from the old windows.  He ordered the windows with grilles, but immediately fixed the problem by ordering replacements and not charging us for the mistake.  He admitted that he should have asked.  A few minor mistakes were made during the three-month process but, in every instance, Andrew Roby bent over backward to rectify the errors and satisfy us with the end result.  Charles Elkins, the executive superintendent, even took my nineteen-year-old plantation shutters to his personal property and spray painted them to look brand new.  He installed new hardware and saved us hundreds of dollars by doing so. </p> <p><br /></p> <p>I can't say enough about the quality of work done by this contractor.  You may get a lower bid, but you will not find the quality or level of customer satisfaction anywhere else.  My husband has always done our remodeling projects since he built our house in 1981, so he was very, very particular about the standard of construction and painting.  Even he was impressed!  The carpentry was superb!  Rob installed sills and trim that totally changed the look of my kitchen and made it look incredibly nicer!</p> <p><br /></p> <p>This contractor remodeled my boss?s kitchen last year, so I hired them on her recommendation.  I have my dream kitchen as a result!</p> <br />"

"Contacted Baker Roofing by phone to schedule a visit for an insurance paid re-roof. Salesman, David Frawley, responded promptly. He met with us, provided a detailed scope of work based on the insurance information that we had previously provided to him. We set up a tentative time frame for the start of the work. Due to weather, we had a few restarts but the Project Manager, Mark Chasse, was on top of it and kept us up-to-date and stayed in touch. He called to discuss where the shingles, the dumpster, and the work trailer could be staged during the time they would be at out house. Mark was on the job for most of the install.The installers worked hard and were focused. No nonsense or fooling around with this team. We had bushes and expenses trees, propane tanks and 3 large A/C units around the perimeter of the house. Baker made sure that nothing was damaged. They walked the perimeter with a giant magnet for nails, picked up trash and left at dusk. I requested they return the next day in the daylight to pick up some remaining trash and nails, which they willingly did. The gutter installer was scheduled by Baker and he returned on Monday to complete the job with the gutters. They did a beautiful job. We were very happy from the beginning contacts with David  all the way to the end with Mark Chasse. Great Company, stands by their work. Granted, this was an insurance job, but we interviewed several roofers. This company hand nails your roof. Even the employees tout how happy they are working at Baker.  We would wholeheartedly recommend Baker Roofing to others. It was important to us to have a local roofer in case of any issues or concerns and Baker came highly recommended. We are so very glad we chose them. Let me also say that everyone that I spoke with on the phone whose names I can't recall were all very nice. Customer Service was A+. Their motto "to always do good work, at a profit if we can, at a loss if we must, but always good work"is why they've been in business so long. Thank you, Baker Roofing. <br />"
