"Someone from Corrigan Electric contacted me the next day and we scheduled the repair. The electrician showed up within the time span given to me and the repair was completed within 90 minutes. I mis-understood the hourly rate(s) given to me over the phone when I scheduled the repair, so the price was a bit more than I expected, but I was satisfied with the repair and experience with Corrigan Electric and would recommend them."

"<p>The two painters who did our job were punctual as well as cheerful, and the paint job was good, although not up to our rather picky standards. It's a good thing we were here for the work, as the wrong ceiling paint was brought, and we caught that error in time.  After the job was completed, we had to clean paint drips and overspray off areas of baseboard where the drop cloths were not kept carefully in place.  There were numerous areas to be redone:  paint roller fuzz painted onto the walls that had to be picked off and touched up, a few nail pops missed or patched poorly, and several corners where cracks were repaired with too much patch and caulk and had to be redone to make a clean corner.  Overall, the painted rooms look nice, but we felt the painters were in a bit of a hurry to leave on the last day.</p> <p>The wallpaper stripping in the dining room was accomplished with a lot of water sloshed around, and I had to keep an eye on my furniture to make sure it was protected - I used clothes pins to secure the drop cloths after I saw the side of the china cabinet take a direct hit from the stripping solution.  (Glad I was here to dry it off!)  The furnace thermostat was not covered and was soaked with stripping solution, but luckily was not damaged.</p> <p>On the last day, one of the painters collected the check.  We were surprised that Mr. Power never called us to make sure the work was done to our satisfaction or gain feedback on the job. Also, we had discussed with him another remodeling task which he promised to get back with us on, but that did not happen.</p> <p>Over all, it was a decent job and a good value. <br /> <br /></p> <br />"

"Adams Construction Services is simply a wonderful company all the way around! I don't know if there are any other companies as good as this one out there, but I do know that you will not find one that is BETTER! I will recommend them to everyone! Their work is impeccable, they do NOT take shortcuts. They are HONEST, and thorough. If they find a problem along the way, they don't just ignore it, nor do they take it upon themselves to do what they want without asking you first. They consult with you about EVERYTHING before doing ANYTHING. Their staff/construction crew is hard-working, polite, friendly, helpful, and considerate. They work as much as they can around your schedule, and clean up every day after they leave. They answer any and all questions with patience and a positive, helpful attitude. We had a bathroom with a rotting floor, causing a hole through which we could see our crawl space below. So it needed to be completely redone, from floor beams to ceiling. We also needed a wall taken down in the kitchen to make it into a larger room. In both rooms, along with new flooring and new walls, we had completely new fixtures installed: shower, sinks, cabinetry, faucets, ceiling lights, fans, dimmer switches, etc. Through the entire time it took to complete the project, the owner, Thad Adams, checked in at least once or twice a week to address any questions or concerns, and to make sure we were happy with the progress. He also left us his number to contact him at any time, should we need him. As far as the cost is concerned, considering the company's work ethics, expertise, accessibility and the fact that they do such a thorough and fantastic job, their prices are MORE than reasonable. They excel at "good customer service". Now we not only have two beautiful rooms, but peace of mind as well. We could not be happier with our new kitchen and bathroom. They turned out even BETTER than what we could have imagined. They are absolutely beautiful! Nothing feels better than when you have found a company you can trust 100%.
