"We could not be happier with the service and the quality of the work from Valley Roofing.  Our home is 5000 Sf and 120' long.  It was an old country store for many years and had presented numerous challenges to say the least.  Lowell's thorough inspection and assessment of the job allowed him to recommend products that best fit our requirements for vinyl siding, gutters, decking, handrails and sun tunnels.  He explained the pros and cons of different products and advised us on what would work best.  Jeff and Joe the siding crew are perfectionists to say the least.  Their attention to detail, workmanship and ability to solve a multitude of challenges involving vinyl and metal trim on an old house that has 5 additions was outstanding.  The project managers and installation crews for the decking, handrails, gutters and sun tunnels were excellent. All the work was performed on time and crews always kept us up to date on progress.  The recommendations I received by all the crews throughout the job to give us the best job possible were always on the mark and resulted in a beautiful home.  As our home is on a main road we receive compliments all the time from people in town on how amazing the house looks and have had people knock on the door to ask us about the job and who did the work. "They were nice and friendly, and took 2 trees down with a bucket truck, so they get a star for each of those. However I had several issues-their equipment broke down twice during the day so they had to leave and come back. They were to clean up a tree of mine that fell in the road and when I came outside and saw the mess remaining on the other side of the 1 lane road they said "Oh I though you only wanted the pieces on this side cleaned up." They were to grind stumps in the front but they didn't go all the way down so I had to point it out to them to redo it. While up in the air with the bucket truck trimming damaged tree limbs from an ice storm there were dead vines hanging off which he could've easy pulled off in 2 seconds to make it look nice but when I asked him to do it he complained that he can only do so much work in one day because he gets tired. They cut down a short tree trunk in my back yard and ground the stump, but I couldn't get the grass to grow for the last year and this year figured out it was because the stump was not ground all the way. Then they were supposed to come back and pick up the tree pieces but they never came back, even though I called them multiple times and they cut them so big that I could not even move them, and I had great difficulty trying to cut them up myself since they then had petrified this year and are still laying about back in a large burn pile in massive pieces since I couldn't cut them any further. Also 1 guy chain smoked the entire day around my cars which was annoying since I hate cigarettes and had to leave the windows closed to my house."

He wore covers on his shoes and was careful around the property. He wrote up his report and had it to us the next day. The report was comprehensive and easy to understand as to what needed attention and why. He was informative. He answered questions while he was here and in follow up conversation.
