"Don and his son, Scott, showed up on time spent quite a bit time reviewing the yard and explaining where and why the fence would be located. I wanted a two zone fence, backyard and front yard, he created the two zone at no extra charge. There were very conscientious about where they sliced the lawn. After the fence was installed they spent quite a bit of time working with our 5 month old puppy and also working with us so we knew how to train her as to where her limits were. They then scheduled an appointment to come and see how our puppy was doing and made some adjustments to the collar. We were concerned about how we were training her and her reaction to the fence. They have come out two additional time to work with us and show us a couple of new techniques to help our puppy get closer to her boundaries. Don also trains dogs and brings them with him on the appointments. They are very well trained and you can see that he loves the dogs and what he does for a living. I recommend Don Offutt with the highest degree of confidence and will look to him for any training issues that arise with, our now, 8 month old lab."

"Overall everything went well. The owner stopped by and provided a free estimate. He was very responsive with all the email correspondences... This was very important to me, considering my experience with previous contractors who were unresponsive. All in all the price was VERY reasonable. The fence installation was quick and efficient. I would recommended. <br />"

"The entire process with Fence Masters was excellent. Justin, the estimator, was punctual to the initial meeting to map out the fence and was well-versed in speaking to the product used. He also followed up during the entire process to make sure that we were satisfied. He was especially patient when we ran into unforeseen issues with our HOA. The installers were professional, extremely competent, and left the installation area neat and tidy. I've encouraged my neighbors who are now looking into having fences installed to use Fence Masters."

"I was not happy with the process. Long Fence responded very nicely when i first contacted them after finding them on Angies List. Some other fence companies I found on Angies List never responded. The salesman was nice but he tried to talk me out of a cross beam I wanted on my posts. At the end of our meeting, he said the workers would put the cross beam when they came, but he did not put it in the contract. The next day, I emailed him and told him that I wanted the cross beams in the contract and he responded to my email that he would send it in an updated contract the next day. I never heard from him again. Several weeks later, the utility company came to demarcate the utility lines for the fence posts, and the surveyor said it was from Long Fence and they only had 10 days. So, I knew they would come within 10 days. I emailed the salesman and Long Fence that I did not want anyone showing up at my house if I was not home because I was afraid they would not put the cross beam and I wanted to avoid later problems. No one responded to my email. Several days later the workers from Long Fence came to my house, no phone call, no advance warning, I just happened to be home. I think they would have put in the posts and left me an envelope with the remaining payment, which he had with him. Fortunately, when I told the workmen about the cross beam I wanted, they were very willing to supply it, so the salesman was correct. I was very impressed with the workmen and the work they did and I am happy with my fence posts. But, the communication with Long Fence was terrible. If I had not been home, I would have still been trying to get Long Fence to fix my fence. <br />"

"Terry arrived promptly to give us the estimate for the work. He measured the roof, went up and inspected the conditions, and also went into our attic to view the roof from the underside. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. He explained all of the options to us about the different materials available, what it meant for the company (Dry Tech) to be Master Elite certified by GAF and the benefits to us in terms of materials, workmanship, and warranty. He broke down the pricing and explained when various payments would be due. Terry later answered our additional phone calls and questions within minutes! We had great confidence in him and the company and chose them from among the 6 estimates we had done. The job was planned for two days, but expected that it might be completed in one long day. <br /> After we made the initial deposit the work was scheduled and the materials ordered. On the morning of July 2nd, the dumpster arrived and was placed in the driveway and the materials were delivered. The workmen arrived about 7:30 am and began the tear off. When they were replacing some of the plywood, Terry arrived and consulted with them and it was found that more of the plywood needed to be replaced (about three times the amount originally expected) when water damage and separation was found after the tear off. All materials had to be hand carried to the roof due to overhead power lines and trees. Once the wood was replaced, a strip was cut out of the wood along the front and back for the smart vent and  the installation of the new roof began. The drip edge, underlayment and the ice and water shield were installed and the shingling began. The "Smart Vent" was put in place as the shingles went on, as was the needed flashing.  Due to the large number of sheets of plywood that needed to be replaced and the time and labor involved, it was necessary for the workmen to return the following day to finish. This had been allowed for in the original plans. Any areas not fully shingled by the first evening were covered with tarps and protected from the elements. (It did not rain overnight in any case.) Terry had gone to other job sites during the day but was available by phone and returned before the end of the day. Both he and his foreman were always ready to answer any of our questions and explain what was going on at various stages. <br /> The workmen returned the second morning, again around 7:30, and got straight to work. Terry came to the job site again to bring additional materials and check on things. Once the shingles were all in place, the ridge vent was installed. Clean up proceeded. All pieces of shingle, underlayment, ice and water shield, paper etc were removed and placed in the dumpster and the gutters were cleared of all debris. The workmen used large powerful magnets to sweep the yard repeatedly for any nails etc. and packed up their equipment and unused items. We were pleased with the clean up and did not find anything out of place. We were given a stack of shingles to keep against any future need also. The job was finished by early afternoon. I spoke with Terry by phone and he told me that the dumpster pick up would be done first thing on the morning of July 5th, as the dumpster company had released their employees for the 4th of July holiday on the afternoon of July 3rd, before our job was complete. As scheduled, the dumpster was removed on the morning of the 5th."
