The bids we got from folks ranged widely, but only Ion seemed to understand what it would take and came in with a more than reasonable bid. He also took the time to make certain we could deal with various daily tasks and even a major crisis (our water heater tank broke, flooding the basement in week two -- meaning they had to deal with heavy traffic in and around their working area at times). Despite the tumult, the progressed nicely throughout.... The restoration itself looks wonderful and enhanced the look (and certainly the value) of the property. We were constantly consulted on decisions related to material and design, and the Ion's craftsmanship is evident in the final product. We highly recommend I.C. "Don and his crew arrived at 7:00am and worked non-stop through Wednesday and into Thursday morning. It was a fairly big job, with an eight car driveway and walkway to the house being completely redone. The crew removed all the old asphalt, laid down and rolled a new fine rock base, paved the first coat of asphalt on Wednesday and paved the top coat of asphalt on Thursday morning.  I had concerns about a curve in the old driveway, its width, and drainage in the walkway area.  Don listened to all my concerns and confidently said that he would take care of everything.  The cost estimate was so reasonable that I had the entire driveway straightened to almost three cars wide.  After the driveway was completed, on a very rainy day I watched the rain draining perfectly down the driveway away from the garage doors and the entrance to the house. Don and his crew were totally professional, completing the job on time with a thorough cleanup as they worked.  I would highly recommend Metro Paving. <br />"
