"Recently bought a beautiful old house with a neglected yard. It might once have been okay, but time had taken its toll. Jesse and his team helped me re-sculpt the lawn terrace, add and level the soil, and lay sod. Despite the scale of the work, we were watering the new law that evening."

"We wanted a drought tolerant easy care yard without looking like we were living in a desert. We researched landscapers extensively and when Joe Parker came out to give us a quote we knew we had found our contractor. Joe is professional, ahead of the curve, and so creative. He transformed the yard and the entire feel of our home. When we come home at night we feel as if we have magically been transported to a wonderful mountain retreat, and yet it fits in beautifully with the neighborhood. The yard has become a bit of celebrity by itself with people stopping to look, take pictures and ask questions. Joe incorporated some of our existing plants and trees, gave us a gorgeous driveway and entry, and stayed right on budget. It was one of those situations where we wanted something but were not quite sure what that was or how to describe it..... and Joe just made it happen. You can engage him with complete confidence as he meets all his commitments and timelines. Exquisite, cutting edge, best home improvement money spent to date!"

"They did a good job. There were a few hiccups but they were all fixed to my satisfaction. They were accommodating for my design and their estimate was fair compared to other estimates I got. They had good reviews from other customers. Good website."

"They did a very professional job, paid attention to the smallest details, asked for our input and discussed options. The end result was completed in just a few days and was better than we hoped for. Brad Allen (owner) had a good team of workers and stopped by the job site several times a day to be sure the work was up to his quality. <br />"

"My experience with L and L Landscaping was very good. They're exemplary and did a really good job. Ten years ago when we moved in to this house they held the whole landscaping of this house and did a wonderful job. I think their fees are in the 75% higher but it's worth it to me and their good enough to ask that kind of fee. They did perfect work. I would not put them along side with somebody who is good. I would put them along side with somebody who is great and I think those people can command a higher price. They did not just landscape my yard. They tore apart the yard. We bought this house and it was run down. They regarded my property, put in the sprinklers and put in all the appropriate landscaping plants for the area. They will walk you through and tell you what should go here and why. What you want to put here and what will work. They did all my drainage. I'm really satisfied that's why I called them back to do another work for me. They do everything. the owner is very knowledgeable and he's taking the time to learn everything he has to learn. He's in demand. They're probably the best contractors that I've ever done work with and I do work with lots of contractors periodically. I've had good ones and I would put him on top of my list."

"<p>The men were on time, friendly and professional.  Despite the tricky location and heavy traffic in our neighborhood, they got the job done quickly. Cleaned up afterwards, and everything looks great.</p> <p>They've done work here before (tree removal, stump grinding) and I've never been disappointed.</p> Fre <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Madera, CA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
