"We have a home that was built in 1930, that is loaded with charm but needed some adapting to our family’s needs. It had two too many doors and one large window that we never used because it looked directly at the neighbor’s driveway! We also needed to have new windows and floors installed, custom bookshelves built, and of course new paint. We decided to hire Fred because from Day One you could tell he was someone that was knowledgable and someone you can trust. Having someone you can trust to do projects in your home is so important because they become a part of your lives for at least a month or so! Fred took care of everything: the supples, installation, paint, and making sure that the brick installers completed the job successfully as well. I now have an office that used to be an “all weather” porch that I can actually be in all day, another office/second bedroom that has more wall space thanks to the seamless work Fred did in closing up a large window and door (not to mention it was with plaster!) He was really precise in doing “delicate demo” since we were trying to save as much of the old house charm as possible. We were even able to use one of the doors in my new office, and it looks beautiful. Cost wise, everything was up front and there were no surprises (even though he was very gracious about us adding items along the way (like extra plugs and installing a storm door). We also had our attic re-insulated and part of our floor lifted which Fred took care of as well. He communicated with us every step along the way, which is also so important. We hope to have a custom closet installed in the near future and will definitely call Fred to do that project as well! 10/10 recommend Fred Oakley for your home renovations!"

"This hasn’t been a smooth process for me. There was a lack of communication. The team that came out was not prepared or detailed oriented and they did not properly cleanup their messes. When they arrived they did actually work the work just wasn’t satisfactory. I appreciate that Tristan did attempt to make things right. I’m disappointed at the fact that I wasn’t included in the decision making process as only I have a vision of how I want my home to look. The door is gorgeous. Thank you to Roger Soto for making the effort to do the work with pride and effort. Just because it wasn’t a smooth process for me doesn’t mean the same for you. Our phone consultation be it one call or more is charged at a rate of $50.00 and if we come to your home or business to do an estimate we charge $75.00 either of which is credited to your project if we enter an agreement or within 60 days we contract a project of $2250.00 we double the face-value of the fee as credit to your project. It is our mission to provide excellent workmanship and complete customer satisfaction from start to completion of a project. In order to understand the needs and expectations of our customers, we take great care to work and communicate with every customer in a professional manner. Our reputation is based on service, safety, and quality, regardless of how large or small the job. In todays busy lifestyle and every day expenses we value both your time and ours and therefore we do not give free estimates. With over 35 years of professional remodeling, major structural repair, home building, handyman and general home maintenance and repair experience, we are here to meet and exceed all your decking, fencing install and repairs, general maintenance, home repair, painting, pressure washing desires and needs to make you home the house of your dreams. We also do lawn maintenance, house cleaning and much more. Ask about our senior and veteran discounts. Our basic cost for most all services except house keeping and lawn mowing is $300.00 that includes the first hour of labor, plus materials then there is an hourly rate per man per hour thereafter. "Clint and his team were getting ready to start a minor renovation project when we had to pivot due to our house "getting flooded" due to backed up inlets in the street. I called our insurance, and their recommended contractor did not even call me back, but Clint and his team immediately swung into action and helped with the remediation and correcting the issue (cleanup, flood cuts, structure dry out, replacement of damaged walls, floors, millwork, etc.). I met with my Landscaper to review some extensive exterior work (storm erosion cleanup, correct leaning retaining wall, replace eroded stone areas and damaged rip rapped channel) and he could not get to it, but Clint and his team were able to get a crew out there immediately to correct these issues also. I would highly recommend Clint and his team at Mid Tenn Trades. Their attention to detail is superb."

"The cover to our patio looks great, but ... to install the three posts. they needed to cut into the existing stone patio. After the cover was installed, they did an inadequate job replacing the stones around two of the three posts. I went to the office to pay for the work, told them of this problem, and they told me to send photos and they would get it addressed. I've sent photos (twice), but they have ignored my requests. Lesson learned: don't pay until you are completely satisfied."
