"Max and his crew were very professional, always on time, and they did incredible work. I hired them to stain our very large outdoor fence (over 600 linear feet). Not only did they do a great job, they stained the entire fence by hand! Several other "pros" quoted me at a much higher price when they were going to use sprayers instead. If you have any painting project, absolutely give these guys a call. We definitely plan to use them again for any other large painting projects."

"The crew did a great job of staining my deck! They were quick and efficient, and my deck looks fantastic. They also cleaned my siding and it looks great too! I will hire Logan and team again for future painting projects as well."

"Eugenio and Christopher of Valle Painting Service replaced a 4x8 drywall in our living room on short notice. They were not only able to schedule us early but showed up on time with all the supplies needed. They adhered to COVID precautions and the work was performed professionally and with attention to detail. We are satisfied with the results. We'll definitely use this company again for additional projects. Highly recommended!"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Madison Heights, VA

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
