"Phillip and crew were attentive, punctural, very responsive and excellent quality work product. They bid sheetrocking, texturing, painting two tree damaged kitchen ceilings removing and reinstallimg ceiling fixtures. Elevating and resurfacing a back door wood deck then paintimg the deck. A new back door was replaced and its locks and door chains were changed out. All work performed professionally in the promised timeframe. In addition, we ended up having him paint both kitchens walls and trim. Also because the legs were rotted on the rear door deck we ended up having the deck reconstructed from scratch. Including the add on work not in initial bid. All work initial bid and the add on work was completed in the initial promised time date."

"We have two six-foot wide sliding mirror doors for our upstairs closet that have never really slid easily in the nine years we’ve lived here. One of the wheels (that guide the door on a rail on top) broke making it near impossible to open or close. As a home-repair klutz, I knew better than to tackle a deceptively simple job like this. Replacing a wheel on a huge mirrored door – what could go wrong, right? So I called One Man and A Toolbox and asked for our favorite go-to guy – Henry. We’ve used Henry on so many jobs (see our other reviews), always with great outcomes and expert-level workmanship. Henry reasoned that if one wheel was bad, all four wheels most likely needed replacing. He was right. For the first time in nine years both mirrored panels now slide easy-peasy -- with the use of only a finger. Seriously."

"My wife and I are very pleased with our bathroom remodel. MLM also added a closet to our den. The work would have been done ahead of schedule except that the supplier of the moldings for the closet addition was closed longer than expected for Mardi Gras. The only other scheduling issue was that the tile subcontractor showed up unexpectedly one day. The tile subcontractor was also not very communicative; but, the quality of the work was very good. The fabrication and installation of the glass shower enclosure was done by another subcontractor (I believe it was M&M Glass). Their work was also very good and they even tightened the door handle on the shower in our other bathroom. They did have to come back to add more silicone to the base of the shower wall after we noticed water leaking under it. But, they made the repair quickly (even before the date they initially gave). The main MLM crew that did the rough-in work and carpentry was very efficient. They were easy to deal with and answered any questions we had about the work. MLM provided daily updates of the work and responded quickly to any inquiries we had. MLM's cost estimate was less than the one other estimate we received. It was also much more detailed. Overall, we are very happy with the remodel and would use them again."

Outstanding craftsmanship on everything, and in our case that included shiplap walls, custom shelving , very large custom shower, new ceiling, and all the trim and paint. "Overall, very well. The company representative was very friendly and knowledgeable. I had all my questions answered in an honest and straight forward way. The company encouraged me to read some neutral articles about transporting a car and what to look for and what to ask. They were very helpful and not pushy like some other companies that I had contacted. The car arrived earlier than the estimated time. The condition of the car was exactly as it had been when it got loaded. I especially liked that we were able to put up to 100 pounds worth of personal belongings in the car. There was some disconnect between United Freight and the driver. I was told the car would be picked up on Monday and, since I was told it was door to door, I assumed he would be at our house. We have wide streets in our neighborhood so I did not think there would be a problem. Instead, the driver called Saturday evening, said he was picking up on Sunday morning and we were to meet him at a nearby shopping center. But the car did get delivered to the address at the other end."
