He was running a little later than he thought on the day of the appointment & let me know right away, which was fine. He is very personable & knowledgeable, and his work is efficient & clean. No surprise costs, everything was as previously agreed to. Even though I wasn't paying for the furnace or A/C to be cleaned he still took the time to look at them & show me what he found, for future reference. The whole cleaning process only took two hours, and we got to see how filthy everything had been plus the random objects he'd found in the ducts. As a new homeowner of a 'light fixer' I was relieved to have such a painless experience! "Received several quotes to upgrade the 7 yr Trane A/C system that was installed when house was built. 2nd fl wasn't being cooled adequately.Original contractor proposed minor enhancements at 1/4 the price of other proposals. Other firms said it wouldn't work so we went with one of them - Mtn View.They replaced the outside condenser with a 2-stage Lenox unit and replaced the coil inside the garage. They were very meticulous, courteous, punctual and professional. We were very pleased with their performance.Then it got hot and we were worse off than before. The coil was icing up and wasn't cooling down either floor. Mtn. View found a valve had failed which they replaced. The unit iced up again the next day.They came out immediately and made all types of adjustments per Lenox instructions. They suspected the new coil was bad but followed the advice of Lenox. It failed again.The next day they replaced the coil (which they fortunately had in stock) and everything works beautifully now, While our overall experience wasn't very good we really can't blame Mtn View. They were very responsive."
