"Originally hired Nick and the Creative Pavers team several years ago to design and install a complete backyard hardscape/landscape package including a paver patio, walkway, steps, lighting, wood deck, and fire pit.  At the time they were not active on Angie's List, so consider this a review of my entire relationship with them now and going back 5 years or so.  I can't begin to say enough about how great they have been.  Their original design and installation was exceptional, and they're follow-up and diligence to meeting they're original schedule commitment was great.  I was so pleased, I bought them back again several months later for another smaller job building a retaining wall and planter in my front yard.

Since those originals installs I have called them back twice for some minor maintenance and settling repairs.  Should point out the repairs were not needed due to poor quality of work, and were nothing more than the typical wear and tear/weather/settling issues you'd expect after 5 years.  Nick and Jack have consistently provided the same level of outstanding service and follow-up throughout our entire relationship.  Relationship is the operative word here, they are most definitely not your typical "here today, gone tomorrow" contractor.  They truly care about their customers and reputations and it shows in every interaction.  I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a hardscape/landscape project.

"We called MC electrical LLC and he came out within two days to give an estimate for our landscape lighting and had an estimate emailed over to us within 24-48 hours after coming out!! Lights look amazing and I'm very impressed with the work performed, not to mention the recommendation that Michael the owner had given us for the new LED fixtures!! Michael and Keith were very awesome as far as laying out all of the walkway lighting as well as the lighting that we have shining on our home as well as the trees!! Very impressive work performed and they kept a very clean workplace throughout the entire job from start to finish!! "I purchased the Angie's List deal of four hours of Handyman's services for $99.
It took a while to schedule, firstly, because it was mainly outdoor work, and when we couldn't find a date in the fall, I waited until the spring.After that, the company was very unresponsive when I tried to arrange an appointment. At one point, I offered a three week window when he could pick his four hours and didn't hear from him.
I thought someone would come by ahead of time to discuss what I was looking for, maybe give me an idea of what the time frame would be for the various tasks. But I was only asked for a description of the jobs over the phone. On the scheduled morning, the company still wasn't sure what I was asking or even if they needed a ladder. (They eventually borrowed mine).
The concrete patching started cracking within days of the job. I called the company about this, but they didn't get back to me.
The carpentry work was sufficient, but  the work didn't allow my door to close. The workers were in their truck and about to leave when I noticed this.
They didn't bother to cleanup the sawdust.
I don't know why Finished Edge wants to be on Angie's List, much less offer special deals, when the follow up with such mediacre work.
