"Dirk Concrete was so easy to work with. I called him, he gave me a fair estimate, and we hired him. He showed up to do the job exactly when he said he would. He did a great job and the cement turned out wonderful. He got the job done quickly, didn't make a mess, and was very professional. The best part, his estimate was my final bill! I've hired a lot of contractors and it seems like the estimate is never the same as the final bill. I highly recommend this company. They do great work and so friendly to work with. "ALTHOUGH JACK SEEMED OVERWHELMED AND HAD TO RESCHEDULE THE ESTIMATE, ONCE HE DID COME, HE SPENT TIME WITH US TO EXPLAIN WHAT HE WOULD DO AND ANSWER OUR QUESTIONS. DUE TO WEATHER AND OTHER CIRCUMSTANCES HE WAS ABOUT AN HOUR LATE, BUT HE DID CALL TO TELL US. WHEN THE WORKERS CAME TO COMPLETE THE WORK, THEY WERE LATER THAN WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE ON BOTH DAYS (AND DID NOT CALL TO TELL ME THEY WERE RUNNING LATE). WE THOUGHT THAT THEY MAYBE COULD HAVE DONE A MORE THOROUGH JOB COVERING OUR STUFF THAT WAS IN THE BASEMENT TO KEEP IT PROTECTED FROM THE DUST, BUT ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT JACK HAMMERING CONCRETE IS MESSY. OVERALL THEY DID A DECENT JOB CLEANING UP THEIR MESS. THE EMPLOYEES WERE ALWAYS POLITE, AND COMMUNICATED WELL WITH WHAT THEY WERE DOING AS WELL AS WHEN THEY WERE LEAVING FOR THE DAY. THEY ALSO DID A FINAL WALK THROUGH WITH ME WHEN THEY WERE DONE."

"The work went very well.  We had a few rain delays, but that could not be helped.  Also we were coordinating other work with another contractor (see R and R Concrete) that sometimes caused delays. They showed up when expected, excavated one side of the house and dug holes on the other (walk out basement) for the piers.  When finished the yard was repaired as good as could be expected for St Louis summer. I have a little work to do on it now that it has cooled off. I had to have cracks repaired inside and concrete work done on the outside.  The people they recommended did wonderful work. <br />"

"excellent price and workmanship and although the weather was not cooperating I was Very pleased with their performance and maintaining my schedule. Mr. Carroll was on site for the entire job and was able to improve my plans and saved me $3800 on unnecessary materials and labor.... I believe that's very rare. In addition I made the mistake of driving over the driveway with my lawn mower after the crew left for the day causing significant damage to the finished concrete but without hesitation Mr. Carroll cut and removed that section and re-poured it the next day for no additional charge!!!!
