Turns out that the fix had to change the look of my house! I told Bill, the carpenter on the team, that it was important to maintain my home's unique character. He came up with an idea that while it did change the look, it kept all the mid-century charm that I love. More importantly, the work done by the crew was excellent. I was able to watch them work.
