"United Prime Van Lines ? this was not a service, it was a nightmare from start to finish. They charged me an extra $450 with ridiculous excuses, like not declaring a $20 mirror and other insignificant items. Then they started adding more made-up fees, like $75 for every additional 50 feet ? something that was never clearly explained upfront. They promised delivery in 9?10 days. That was a lie. My belongings showed up 18 days later, with no accountability or proper explanation. The payment situation was another disaster: after initially accepting credit cards, at pickup they suddenly said they no longer accepted cards and that I had to pay in cash. They literally change the rules whenever it suits them. After arguing with multiple people, they ?accepted? my card, but split the payment into two transactions just to charge me double processing fees. Completely abusive. And as if that wasn?t enough, upon delivery they charged me even more money because the apartment was on the 4th flo"

"I recently used Roadway Moving and had a really great experience. Crisanto and his crew showed up right on time and were super prepared. I also loved that I could track their arrival ahead of time, which made everything feel a lot more organized. They worked quickly but were still really careful with my stuff. I had some bigger, delicate pieces including three mirrors, and everything was handled perfectly with no damage. They also helped me figure out how to fit my couch in the space and took the time to set up my rugs and furniture so my studio was still easy to move around in after they left. Overall, the whole process felt smooth and stress-free. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a solid moving company."

"Extremely disappointing experience with Schlepper. We hired them for a move that included an antique armoire valued at $15,000, with very clear instructions agreed upon in advance with their representative (J). Those instructions were not followed, and the armoire was damaged as a result. Key issues: We were never informed or offered any insurance option. It was not mentioned by the representative (J) and not proposed on the day of the move. The movers could not communicate in English, making it impossible to give instructions or resolve issues. The movers left our bathrooms in a disgusting, unsanitary condition. The agreed plan was to disassemble the armoire at pickup and reassemble it at delivery. Instead, they attempted to move it improperly and only dismantled it at delivery when it didn?t fit ? causing damage. Schlepper refused to reimburse us or send a professional restorer, and instead offered $120 for damage to a $15,000 antique. This is unprofessional, misleading."
