"Eli at SES builders designed, drafted and implemented the plans for the remodeling that I did on my new house that I just purchased. His design ideas including the experience and his huge help was beyond my expectations! After the design stage was completed, I went ahead and asked Eli to quote us for the remodeling itself. Eli was able to give us a quote that was very good for us and I hired him for that stage as well. During the work, I saw all the attention to details that Eli and his team put for the work and it was very high. The remodeling project was completed a little bit after the agreed time frame (which is completely understandable) and Eli did several changes that I noticed and I asked for during the actual remodeling process. "We waited to review our project 1 year after completion to be sure that all was well. We are very pleased with the final result. Our only mishap was having miscommunications with B&B when we requested follow up 4 months after project completion – our issues were resolved with a factory representative. No hard feelings. How It Went- Workers were professional and competent. Building on an existing slab is extremely challenging – because the slab slopes away and down from the house – 2 angles that need to be countered when leveling windows and doors etc. When corrective rework was needed (to compensate for a 2 inch site deviation) the team didn’t hesitate and B&B came up with an excellent solution. We retained the exterior stucco exterior of our house for the room and they finished the wall beautifully – it required a lot of fine and patient work. We asked for an 18 inch deep exterior pad – which accommodates a doormat and our foot print. It was done this way – although there was initial push back on this request. We also involved our own electrician, who is familiar with this old house – and we came up with an elegant solution to connect to our home. After project closure, we delayed evaluation until things settled out. Over the next few months, some of the sliding windows became increasingly difficult to open and close – and during an extremely fierce and long rainstorm we experienced a leak coming from one corner of the enclosure. We immediately spoke with B&B. With miscommunications with B&B, we resolved our issues with a factory representative in a single short visit: they added weep holes to the exterior, caulked, replaced a window roller and adjusted windows and the screen doors. We are very pleased with the final result. And so are our kitties."

"I have heard that remodeling constructors from ANGIE's LIST mostly have had good reputation. So, I joined ANGIE LIST, purchased an 3-D designed and estimate for my bathroom remodeling.
David Elezra, the project manager of Regal Construction Remodeling, met us at our house at 6:00PM Wednesday 11/5/2014 on time.
David appeared to be friendly, professionally, and knowledgeable for the job. We signed the contract with him without a second thought despire the price was pretty high for a small job. We thought that with most A reviews for Regal, they will do a good job for us.
We got his 3-D drawing first draft on Sunday 11/9/2014 with two suggestions totally different from the style we wanted,disscussed, and agreed on the contract. We disapproved David's two suggestions and specifically ask for the style on the contract. He re-drawed and we agreed. 
For ANGIE's LIST member: Do not expect too much for the 3-D design as seen on HGTV or DIY TV network. It is very simple. And it is not worth for your $29.00. I don't know who will get this money (ANGIELIST or the Constructor), but we can normally get a free estimate from a lot of contruction companies out there.

The contract stated the remodeling will start on 11/11/2014. At 7:00PM 11/10/2014, David called us and confirmed that they will come tomorrow from 8:00AM - 9:00AM. AT 9:00PM 11/10/2104, David called back and said one of his truck was not repaired, he proposed to move the start date to 11/12/2014. We did not buy that reason but what can we do.  We were disappointed,  so he just throw a statement that the demolition will not take more than 4 hours, so maybe at noon his crew will come and start the job.The conversation ended. The promise was hanging!!!!
Tuesday 11/11/2014, we waited to 10:00AM to call David. He asnwered and said that he was with a customer and will get back to us in 1 or 1 1/2 hours. We waited for 2 and 1/2 hours, no call from him so We called him, no answer. We called his office, Cindy, the office manager took our blamed patiently and promised us that David will contact us ASAP. And David called us right away. He came to our house to clear what he called "the miscommunication".
Too deep to withdraw, we put every bad thing happened out of our way and prepare for the job to start on Wednesday 11/12/2014.
Wednesday 11/12/2014, I had to take of  a few work hours to meet David and his crew. He was late again and blamed it to traffic. He took his two workers into my bathroom and explain what they have to do. I was a bit suprised. I thought REGAL workers should know what they should do before coming to the job site. It seemed like you go to Home Depot and hire people sitting in front of Home Depot. I left to work.
15 minutes later, David called me and said that there was a problem. His workers said that they have to remove our vanity before they can do the demolition, and it is reasonable request, but  David, the project manager, should know that the job cannot be done without moving the vanity at the time he came to do the estimate, or if he was not sure, he should take a worker with him to do the correct estimate. Unfortunately, the vanity can be damaged if they remove. David suggested that we should replace our existing vanity so he can build a large shower for us.
This was it. I decided to cancel the contract. David has wasted his company's time/resources and our time.
Cindy of Regal has promised me that she will refund our deposit of $625.00, she said she will mail to us today. Hopefully, we can get back our money soon.

The communication was EXCELLENT (I can't emphasize this enough!) and we were kept up to date throughout the entire process--we were able to text which was so convenient.
