"Ace Remodeling did a great job with my small galley kitchen. They tackled structural changes and essentially started from scratch to create an attractive, cozy and functional kitchen. Excellent workmanship from all crews and a knowledgeable project manager that paid attention to details and kept the project on budget and pretty much on time. Thank you, Rose, and thanks to all the workers and craftsmen for your outstanding work!"

"I hired CQS to perform major renovations to two of my bathrooms. They knew exactly what had to be done. The quote was better than all the others. Tim and his crew did an excellent job with the tile, shower pan, moving the toilet, and were incredible to work with. I hope to hire them again on my next project."

"BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR! I was duped by this company! Told me the installation of my single front iron door would be $255/hr for 1 hr possible 2 hours for 2 people. This install was 7 hours for each person or 14 hours which cost me over $1300 to install 1 door. The door was already prehung. The 2 men were walking around wasting time, pretending to look for parts such as door handles which were right in front of them in the box. This is deceptive, false advertising, and will be reported to the BBB. They didn’t even get my confirmation/approval for additional hours or work! I will NEVER use their services again. Duped!"

Small jobs welcome

"Gus and his team are amazing. Gus treated our home like it was his own. He was always on top of the plan and how to execute the project efficiently and effectively. His team was fantastic as well. We could not be happier with the results of our remodel and will definitely use GG Remodeling for our future projects. Finally, Gus was honest, jovial, and easy to work with. Don't go elsewhere for your remodeling project."

" We had our shower remodeled with Austin Dream Remodeling. We talked with several contractors, but Austin Dream (and especially Shai) stood out from the others with his enthusiasm, knowledge and patience. His communication of milestones and schedules was top notch, and we were in contact with him almost daily throughout the entire process. His team, from tiling, glass, plumbing and all were professional and skilled. In the end the product they delivered was exactly what we wanted. "

"Julius did an excellent job replacing the original tub and old school tiled walls with a new walk in shower enclosure. The original plumber had left a rat's nest of copper tubing tucked into the underside of the tub. Julius had to break out some of the concrete and dig up enough of the old copper tubing and replace it with pex tubing and then re build the wall around that. After the the job went smoothly with Julius being very conscientious and detail oriented with his work. I'm very pleased with his work and the finished product."

FAQs for bathroom remodel projects in Manor, TX

You can buy a replacement vanity by selecting a pre-made unit with an integrated sink from a local home improvement supplier. Pre-made vanities are designed for easy installation and compatibility with your existing plumbing. If a ready-made option doesn't meet your needs, consider hiring a custom builder to create a vanity that fits your space and style.

You can purchase a bathroom vanity from major home improvement retailers like Home Depot and Lowe’s or online stores like Wayfair, which offer a variety of pre-made vanities. Visiting local showrooms and bathroom supply stores can also provide professional advice and help you choose the right vanity for your space.

Installing your bathroom vanity flush against the wall enhances stability and prevents shifting. This placement also eliminates hard-to-clean gaps and keeps your vanity securely in place. Building codes often require a minimum clearance of four inches from bathtubs and at least 21 inches of free space in front of the sink for accessibility and safety.

You can upgrade a single vanity to a double vanity by installing additional cabinets, a second sink, and matching fixtures. This process requires additional plumbing adjustments, countertop modifications, and careful alignment to ensure both sinks function correctly. Upgrading to a double vanity enhances bathroom functionality and offers more space, which is especially beneficial for shared bathrooms.

The best vanity top material depends on your budget, style preferences, and maintenance willingness. Materials like quartz or solid surfaces are excellent choices for durability and low maintenance. If you're on a tighter budget, laminate is affordable but less durable. Consider how much traffic your bathroom gets and choose a material that balances cost, appearance, and upkeep.

Installing a bathroom vanity takes between three and six hours. Simple installations may be completed in under three hours, while more complex projects requiring adjustments or plumbing modifications can take up to six hours or more. The installation process includes assembling cabinets, placing the countertop, installing the sink if necessary, and connecting plumbing.
