"I thought it was a big project, I was very pleased with the work that was done and I would definitely refer others if you need electrical work done. I give him a five star because, he will make sure everything is done up to code, and that you are satisfied with the work that is being done. I had an added room and had many outlets, lights and fans and mini-splits installed, as well as a breaker box. and all is working great. Very easy to talk with and very reasonable on the price. Again, I would definitely refer others.."

"Luke did several small electrical and plumbing jobs at our home -- repair light fixture, repair light switch, and repair hose connection to dish washer. He did superb work, completing all tasks efficiently, professionally, and at reasonable cost. His courteous demeanor was also appreciated. Given his fine performance, we've already asked him to take on some larger jobs in coming weeks. In short, this is a versatile, knowledgeable, skilled handyman, and we give him top marks for his outstanding work for us."

"Luis is very easy to work with. He is honest, professional, knowledgeable, and very good at keeping the project running smoothly. His crew is awesome even when he is not on site. It was supposed to be a one-day job but they came back the second day to finish up just to make sure everything is done properly. I couldn't be happier with the result. I would definitely ask them to come back for my future projects."

"My overhead garage door would not go up when I tried to go to work, so my car was stuck in the garage. James phoned me immediately while I was reporting my project to HomeAdvisor and scheduled an appointment for that afternoon. He arrived on time, quickly inspected the damage and gave me a quote with two options. He started right away and had all of the necessary materials in his truck. He noticed and pointed out some maintenance items, which he included in his repair for the quoted price. He explained everything he did and answered all of my questions professionally. He finished quickly and had a friendly and courteous attitude. Now my 24-year-old garage door works great!"

FAQs for handyman service projects in Manor, TX

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
