"It was fine. It took while to get it scheduled because I wasn't ready to have it done. It involved taking my back door off and I didn't want to do that in January and February. The stuff that I needed to have done didn't take 4 hours. What I was having done wasn't difficult. He showed up on time and he seemed to know what he was doing so I can't ask for more than that. There was no worst part. The best part was he was a nice guy. We had something in common to talk about so we were able to chitchat while he was working. I think it was worth a hundred bucks. It took a while to get it scheduled. I would possibly use them in the future if I needed more the same type of stuff done."

I especially appreciate Walter's suggestions with the garage ceiling down, putting floor above ceiling, add attic stairs for easier access (was using ladder previously), adding more lighting (much better than before), repair basement stairway wall. I found all his suggestions to be extremely helpful as I would never have thought of it -until it was too late, if at all. Mike was also very conscientious about satisfying my aesthetics with the door trims (had preferred colors if doable). The work was bundled into one price including new lighting fixtures which turned-out to be exactly what I would have selected. "1. book case project. I know Jim. He created my front porch and I trusted his sense of design and artistic vision. When It was time to redo my big ugly book case to something more artistic and fun, I knew I had to get Jim. I didn't quite know what I wanted but I new that the big, monolithic, ponderous bookcases needed to be replaced by something more cool, funky, light and something more in keeping with my mid-century modern home, something that could define the 'great room' and be a centerpiece/statement. So I had Jim over and explained what I was l thinking. He came back with a drawing that was really wonderful and fanciful and seemed to be just the right thing. I mean this thing is flying from the wall (attached in some weird internal way...cleats? i don't know..but it floats off the wall and doesn't touch the ground!...cool) There are curved bits on a few different angles; it must have been really hard to make those kinds of cuts. This is the most artistic statement one can make in a bookcase and truly it must be seen to be believed. It's not weird. It completely fits my vision and is in keeping with my idea of something fanciful yet tasteful. I knew I made the right choice when after it was built anyone that would come over would always comment on how cool my book case was. It really makes the room! 2. Jim also made me wood doors out of cedar to match my house. I had him make 8 doors. I wanted to do something custom that would be special and not just get the typical flimsy screen door. These doors are more substantial and they have replaceable screen door or glass panes. They are the right look for my house and very functional with my cat so I can have glass on the bottom that is impervious to scratching yet have a breeze coming through at the top of the door. Made out or cedar they blend in well with the house."

"Mark Salazar (Owner) arrived as scheduled and repaired the trim siding. I have used Mark on three other occasions.
The first time he put new siding on my house and completed the work in the estimated time.  He gave me a list of houses to look at that he previously put siding onHis workers picked up each day and placed everything in the dumpster he provided.  (Very clean). Cost was about $12K
The second time I used him was for roof repair. Previously we used Wizard Construction and our roof leaked because it was installed incorrectly.  At the time I did not know that RCS did roofs.  I called Mark in and he came over and agreed that the job was done improperly. Wizard Construction has since gone out of business.  He and his crew repaired the roof, again very clean work. Cost was about $4K, but that included removing the plywood underlayment as well
The third time was I wanted to add vinyl embellishments to the front of the house and to add new vinyl shutters and power washing. The total cost was about $1500. 
I also recommended him to my next door neighbor and installed Hardyplank? siding."
