"The only problem I saw was the barb wire was not straight on a 30 foot section and the dirt around a few of the posts was not packed right. The price was pretty good and they did the job the next day after estimate. One of the workers was kind of rude to me after the job was done? all in all I may hire them again but will get more than 1 estimate next time"

"I contacted many fence companies to replace a section of chain link fence and replace a single gate with a double gate. Responses included 1) they don't do chain link fence any longer, 2) the job was too small to bother with, or 3) they simply didn't return my phone call. However, North Star responded positively, and I could tell after talking with Jeff that customer service is a priority for them. The entire process went extremely well, and we are very pleased with the results. John, the owner, was out within days to prepare a proposal. He is extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and professional, and a pleasure to work with. He also came back out to set the posts, a critical aspect of the job. Installation of the chain link was done very neatly and carefully, yielding a very nice-looking fence. It is exactly what we were looking for. I would strongly recommend North Star Fence."

"A&M in-Ground Fence was referred to us from friends who spoke very highly of Curt and the products they received. We decided to go with A&M and couldn't be more impressed and appreciative for all that we got. The install went great and the communication and follow-up from Curt has always been A+. We also ran into a bad collar later on (under warranty) and the exceptional service from Curt continued where he helped us trouble shoot (first over the phone) and when that didn't work, he came to our house and fixed the issue. "I'm glad I waited 10 years to write this review, as now the fence they installed has failed. At first it looked great, but I wish I had asked more questions and watched what they were doing at the time. The cedar posts were not treated in any way and they did not pour concrete footings for every post. They also used nails instead of screws on the panels and now nails are sticking out. When I called him recently to come back, I was disappointed that it was out of warranty. Our previous fence lasted 31 years! He gave me an estimate to fix the fence, then I called other companies for additional estimates and found out that they will not fix a fence they didn't install. So, I emailed Security Fence again to hire, but he never got back to me. Do not hire them unless you make sure they use treated posts, use screws instead of nails and make sure/watch them pour footings for every post. Now I have to either find handymen to fix my fence, or put up a new fence. If I put in a new one, I will choose vinyl this time. If Security Fence makes this right, I will update this review."
