"It went very well. Tim is easy to deal with and very fair. Tim has the resources and access to resources to accomplish most anything having to do with fencing. Much of my back yard had to be cleared as it was overgrown. (house was built in 1948) I only had to have two very large trees removed, which were also near power lines... everything else Tim's folks took care of. Tim knows his fences. Due to the fence being 8 feet high, Tim used 6 by 6 posts instead the 4 by 4 posts used on my neighbor's 8 foot fence. The board on board insures privacy, where I can look through my neighbor's fence between the pickets. Where we were tight on space, Tim had the ties moved to the back of the post to allow for more room in those areas. I would recommend T & D Custom Fences for all of your fencing needs"

"I contacted Mike when I was gathering estimates from different companies and he was by far the most personable and most forthcoming of all the companies that I dealt with. He went so far as to show me all the prices that he gets for materials, which is rare to get that kind of upfront honesty these days. When I found out I was moving and I needed the fence put up quickly, Mike was the only person I contacted out of the 5 companies that I had measure and price me out. The quality speaks for itself when you see the fence. The crew were great and friendly, answering any questions that I had while they were building the fence. It only took them a day and a half of total work time, no shortcuts were taken and the quality is great. The pressure treated lumber used was without cracks or flaws and the use of screws instead of nails will ensure that the fence boards will stay intact when nailed fences will fall apart in a few years. The wooden platform supporting the castor wheels on the gate is an awesome feature that will prevent gate sag and stress on the hinges. If I ever buy a home in this area again, Stetzler Sawmill fencing is the first and only company I'm calling. <br /> I marked the price as a B because they do charge a little more than the other fencing companies around, but remember that you get what you pay for and Stetzler Sawmill fencing's record and Angie's List awards speak for themselves. We were put off almost a week from when he said he would be able to get to us. The days he worked at our house, he was consistently late. I wouldn't say they were respectful of time or space (didn't knock on closed doors when they came through to measure, stayed too late- after 6pm- without asking if this would work for our family, and did not get the work finished in the time they said.) If you are looking for good quality of work, a reasonable price, and a "jack of all trades" type of worker, this company would fit your needs. He does, however, not keep dates and times as estimated by himself and does not communicate effectively enough for me to use him in the future. <br />"
