"I am a DIY guy who rarely hires contractors for home improvement projects. My 4200 square foot shake roof needed replacement and we decided to go with a thick Owens Corning shake-like shingle (Woodmoor Chestnut). The project involved removing the old shakes, installing the new shingles, plywood sheathing, skylights/solar tunnels, underlayment, vents and lots of flashing. Being a DIY guy, I was very apprehensive about trusting this expensive project to a stranger. I picked DHT based on Owens Corning recommendation, online reviews and meeting with Curtis. When the crew showed up it was obvious that they had been briefed on the job details and my anxieties. I quickly realized that Brian, the team lead, was an experienced professional who I could trust. A couple minor issues arose during the project and each was thoroughly and courteously resolved. We had almost 2” of rain during the construction – but not a single drop found its way into the attic. The finished product exceeds our expectation. I did not think anything would look as good as new shakes – but this new roof comes close. Based on this experience I have reason to be less anxious over hiring a contractor in the future."

"We were very pleased with the tear-off and new roof done by Forever Roofing on our house in North Seattle in mid-June of 2020. The estimator Sam contacted us the next day after I left a message and came by within several days and gave us what I felt was a reasonable estimate that included several other requests including removal of a no-longer used chimney and replacing about 20 feet of facial board that was too high for me to replace safely. The crew was great. They were able to utilize the one corner of the house that didn't have plantings for their work area. They completed the job in two days and the gutters were installed on the third day. They were very careful in their clean-up. I would not hesitate to recommend Forever Roofing for their response time and the quality of the workmanship."

"Some damage to our Hardie board siding had occurred following a roof replacement about 5 years ago. Over time the exposed board edges (where the roof line and flashing tuck under the siding) continued to deteriorate and needed to be replaced. We reached out to 5 different contractors in our area - 4 of which said the job was just too small. High Cascade came out on a Friday and gave us a very reasonable estimate to remove and replace 3 entire sections of siding. Astonishingly, the work was started and completed the following Tuesday. The 2-man work team were courteous and respectful of our property. Their workmanship was first-rate. All together this was an excellent experience working with Joey, Sam and the High Cascade crew. We hope to contract with them again for some upcoming projects. Likewise, we will gladly recommend them to others. Dave D"

"Three Tree Roofing replaced our roof about 18 months ago and we were thrilled with the work, cost, and their professionalism (see my previous review). I have recently cancelled my DIRECTV service and called them to get an estimate on repairing/replacing the shingles where the satellite dish was mounted. They told me that they would send someone out by the end of the week to remove the dish and replace the damaged shingles at no cost. Andrew, Omar and Pedro all helped to keep the project moving forward. They removed the old torch down roof with built in gutters (terrible 1960s design for Seattle area) and installed a new asphalt shingle roof with ice and water underlayment and new gutters and downspouts. Everyone we dealt with throughout the process was extremely knowledgeable and professional. When we were having trouble deciding on the shingle color, they swung by and dropped of some sample shingles so we could make a decision. They stayed in contact from the time we selected them through the end of the process and kept us updated on the status. The crew that installed the roof was very courteous and keep our property clean over the two days it took finish the replacement. Because of rain, they were unable to paint the vent pipes and flashing but they came back a couple of days later to finish.
