"Unlimited Masonry did a superb job. They were polite and diligent communicators from the minute I contacted them. There quote was reasonable and in line with the other companies I contacted. In fact, they were a bit less expensive than some, even though they were willing to do more repair and brick cleaning than other contractors offered to do. We had two large brick planters attached to our home, which was built in the late 70s. One planter wall had split down the middle and was leaning forward. The other planter wall that frames our entry way and front door was detaching from the house. The front of our house is also made of brick on the lower portion, and there were some cracked bricks on the foundation. Both brick walls were stained. They arrived on time, very cheerful (especially for 7AM) worked steadily, and completed the project before noon. I am so delighted with the improvement to our two brick wall planters and the cracked bricks they replaced on the front of our house. They did an excellent job matching hard to find brick from the 70s. The brick wall planters are now straight and sturdy, and the stains have been removed. I highly recommend this business and would definitely hire them again."

"Jason reviewed the job and said I would get the estimate that day and I did. Wow!! Lisaâ s scheduling communication was great. Day/time that job was to start was spot on. The work was all done in one day. Tore down a short Chicago brick wall. Rebuilt the wall after tear down. Care was taken through out the day to keep the job site clean. Tarps were put down to catch all debris. Workers were friendly and answered all questions that I had. Clean up of job site was very good. "It went really well. Al and Corey are both fantastic to work with. I moved into a house where the yard was in rough shape. I talked to several different landscaping companies and decided on Goodfellows after the initial meeting. Al had such great suggestions for tweaking the design and thinking about the project, that I knew I would regret it if I chose someone else. The customer service is really good. Many contractors I have worked with are almost impossible to get answers from, but Al was always on top of everything I asked. The install team worked very hard and took great care when working close to the house to ensure nothing was damaged. "If you are looking for paver patios, the installers are great. They did a very nice job, and were professional throughout. They would clean up every day before leaving, addressed any questions we had timely and we are very satisfied with the results. We also added a gazebo to our patio design. It was very clear that gazebo's are not one of their strengths. We encountered many issues with the design and build of the gazebo long before construction began. We had hired Josh in October to complete all elements of the landscaping project the following spring. Over the winter months, we had asked on many occasions for catalog photos, or anything that would confirm what the finished gazebo was going to look like. The pictures were never sent and the only indication of what it might look like came just a few days before the project began and was a very small (1x1) black and white picture. Our expectation of the gazebo was that the material used would be cedar. We had asked for glass windows that could be closed during the cooler and winter months. We were assured on many occasions that cedar material and glass windows were what we were going to get. As they were starting to build the gazebo, the material was not cedar, rather it was pressed wood. As the windows were installed, they were not glass (despite being told that very day they were glass), instead they were a plastic film over the screens. We were left in a very difficult position where we were essentially forced to concede on both elements. While the gazebo is functional, and will suit our needs, had Josh sent just ONE picture sometime in the 5 months or so prior the project start, we may have been able to make a different decision. Related, and something else to be aware of. When trying to reach Josh about start dates, etc I would say he was not always as responsive as I would have expected. Furthermore, there were multiple instances where what was promised was not delivered. Again, if you are looking at a paver or patio project - these guys are great and I would recommend their workmanship. However beware of anything more than that."

"He repointed the mortar on my chimney and created a new concrete. Excellent workmanship and attention to detail. Put in extra effort to accommodate my schedule. Explained exactly what he planned to and then worked his plan. Showed up when he said he would. Used forms and rebar to create a new overhanging concrete cap for my chimney. The original cap was simply mounded concrete with no rebar. The overhang will help prevent leaks in the chimney and prolong the life of the repointing work."
