"It went very well. Everyone that I worked with was very patient in answering my questions. The installation was just as explained to me. The trainer was very nice to our dog. We did have a storm with lightening that was hitting over our house the day after installation. I think that is why our fence was not working. It was quickly remedied by a repair at no charge. My only concerns are that when we tried to do follow up training, our dog just wanted to bite the leash. When we gave up on the leash and let him go, he seemed to go through the fence with no reaction. The collar was set on 4 of 10. We have since bumped it up to 6, but he has still gone through. We will continue to work with him. Since he is not yet 6 months old, we don't want him loose until he gets neutered. I would use Lance's Fencing again."

The work was done in 2 days, and I have a very big backyard that needed to be done. They removed the old fence I had up and put up a beautiful 6 ft privacy fence. "<p>We moved into our home in January of 2016.  We have a larger back yard but, there were a lot of unleashed pets and wildlife that were frequenting our back yard.  We decided that we needed to put up a fence, and quick.  In the past, I have worked as a landscaper and currently own and maintain a small farm.  From that, I have experience installing various types of fencing.  I take pride in doing quality work and was somewhat anxious about hiring someone.  I was also a lumber associate for a large hardware store so; I know how to pick out the best materials and what the overall cost would be.  You may think, “if you have the skills and knowledge why wouldn’t you just do it yourself?”  Well, I no longer have the tools, vehicle, time, and energy.  </p> <p>After searching Angie’s List and reading reviews, we had several fence companies come out and give us quotes.  We decided to contract with Skip of Elite Fence to help start our backyard transformation.  There are several reasons why we chose Skip: personality, precision, and price. To start with, when I first met Skip, I could tell that he was passionate about his trade and took his work very seriously.  His confidence and knowledge reassured us that we were going to get the fence that we wanted.  When he came out to measure, he located and verified the survey stakes based on the recorded property lines.  We weren’t quite sure on the size or style so, Skip sent us multiple quotes for different materials and he broke it down by price per foot so we could easily know the cost of different designs.  He answered all of our questions and explained his detailed process and timeline.  Finally, and most importantly, his quoted prices were the lowest among all of the companies that we contacted.  In one case, the competitor’s quote was almost double our final cost with Elite Fence.  </p> <p>What Skip and his team were able to do, in the short time that they had, was simply astounding.   Despite the cold and wet conditions (there was still snow on the ground), Skip and his team were on site early and stayed till after dark if needed.  He sourced the cedar pickets from several hardware stores in order to select the best that available, and during the installation process, I saw him reject several that didn’t meet his high standard.  All of the posts were anchored with concrete and even after receiving several occasions of heavy wind and rain, the fence didn’t budge or settle.  I couldn’t be more impressed with the end results.  They definitely made a difficult job look simple.   To top it all off, Skip, out of his own concern, has stopped to check the fence and gates and to ensure that we were still pleased.  Our neighbor was so impressed with our fence that Elite fence will be installing theirs very soon.</p> <p>Overall, Skip was extremely professional, punctual, courteous and efficient.  I have and will continue to recommend Elite Fence to others.  He is not only the best choice for his precision and professional skill but, also the most economic choice. </p> <p>If you want to see his work there are examples at Elite Fence There are also 19 pictures of my fence posted on March 1, 2016.  We are currently in the process of staining the fence and will post updated pictures when finished.</p> <p>Contact Elite Fence for any future fence project; you won’t be disappointed.</p>"

"The primary goal of the job was to install a 5' X 10' section of pavers to cover the area around a standby generator.  The exhaust from the generator kills any vegatation (including grass) around the exhaust and it was just ugly dirt.  On the intake side it was just dirt and weeds so we just wanted something to look nice.  After Cory came out for the estimate we decided to extend the pavers to include the privacy fence gate so it ended up around 5' X 20'.  <br /> Cory was very helpful (and patient) helping us pick out the color, style, and design of the pavers.  Cory and a helper (I can't remember his name) showed up very early on a Saturday morning and went right to work without disturbing us.  They worked right through the day and into dusk. <br /> What should have been a "simple" job turned out to be anything but.  The patio that the pavers butted up to had settled and Cory had to match the slope to make the pavers look right.  Then we had hoped that he would be able to remove the skirt around the generator, lay the pavers underneath, and replace the skirt.  This turned out to be impossible so they "nibbled" every single paver to match the lines and rounded corners of the generator.  All this while maintaining a perfect herringbone pattern. <br /> I would have been happy with a simpler pattern if it would have made the job easier but Cory was insistant that the job be done right and look good. <br /> I was and am very happy with the job they did and if I have any other paver or landscaping job in the future I will be calling Cory first. <br />"
