"We got three estimates for power washing and staining our front porch and two large levels of back decking.  Of the three estimates, All About Painting was in the middle (one was a couple hundred less and the other was nine hundred dollars more).  We decided to go with All About Painting because of the professionalism and thoroughness of the person who came to look at the job.  There was about a two month wait but it was worth it!  They came exactly when they said they would.  There were two young men and they were both very polite and professional.  They moved the furniture, did an amazing job power washing and said they would come back the next day to stain.  They next day, they came on time and did an incredible job staining the decks.  They worked hard and continuously until the job was done.  We absolutely love the results!  Our deck looks amazing and we have gotten so many compliments.  It looks better than new and we have been enjoying it ever since.  It's been a couple months since we had it done and the results are still the same.  Great job All About Painting!  You guys do it right!

"From start to finish, I couldn't be more pleased with The Painting Pros. Ron Desiderio did the initial assessment and estimate. Ron is extremely thorough and professional and I appreciated his detailed and thoughtful recommendations for how to proceed with the necessary work. To top it off, Ron is also a very affable person who added a sincere personal touch. The project included a multitude of items, including replacing a wooden railing on my front stairs, replacing several damaged stair treads, painting the railing, staining the front porch and steps, painting three garage doors, repairing several panels of cedar siding on my garage, staining the cedar siding, repairing a rain gutter that was loose, pressure washing my driveway, and painting one room inside the house. Luis was the on-site supervisor of the team that worked on my home and he and the entire team did excellent work. What went well:
- Ian Farrell gave the quote, and he was terrific.  He was very responsive to our initial request; he showed up on time; he was extremely thorough; he worked with us on the price; all great.
What didn't go as well as i would have liked:

• - They showed up a day early.  Not a big deal; there was a snafu on the scheduled arrival date.  We were not home when they showed up; we were returning from vacation about 2:00 that afternoon.  They had been working on the exterior items all day without us being there.  It was just a surprise to arrive home and find ladders in my driveway.  But no biggie.

• - The job site foreman spoke almost no english...we had a VERY hard time communicating. We struggled through it, but it was frustrating at times.
• - I work from home for a large corporation and am constantly on the phone. Several times, the job foreman walked into my office, even though the door was almost closed, and started asking me questions, all while I'm in the middle of a conference call.  I had to put several calls on hold in order to respond to him.
• - Once, the job foreman came into my office to speak with me.  When we were done he started looking around at the photos in my office.  He actually went over to my credenza, picked up a photo and started asking me questions about the person in the photo.  Now I'm a pretty social person, and again, this wasn't a big deal, but it kind of creeped me out.  I felt like a line had been crossed.  I attribute this to cultural differences, and like I said, no big deal, but it left me with an odd feeling.
• - The quality of the workmanship was mostly good.  I did find some paint spatters on my brand new cabinets in the bathroom, but I should be able to get them off with little effort.
• - It was a small job, really.  On the second day, they arrived on time, exactly when they said they would. 

I've used Dixon before and was happy with them.  But next time.....I'm not so sure i'll go back to the well.  I'll have to really think about it.
To Angies List: you may want to have 'maybe' as a selectable option for the question about using this provider in the future.  It's not always a yes or no situation.
