"James called in advance and was prompt. His assessment of our vent clean revealed an odd combination of complicating factors. .We knew the vent was a basement to roof 2 story stack in our 70 year old home. What we didn't know or couldn't access easily was that the connector pipe was an old oval gas dryer furnace configuration encased in cement that had a tragically wrong 4 to 2 inch reduction elbow jammed way up in it after the original owners converted from a gas to electric dryer. .See the photo to appreciate the fire hazard this hidden pipe created. James was amazing. This man is funny, focused, smart and exceptionally customer service- oriented. His proposal for new vent line a few feet out of the house was the ideal long term solution. It was, in fact, the optimal solution for us. Kudos to James and to Dryer Vent Wizard for empowering their employees to do what is best for the customer. "I had not had my ducts cleaned for nearly 10 years (standard should be 3-5), and we had construction over the summer, so there was a *lot* of buiit-up dirt in the system. As it turns out, the previous cleaning was not that thorough, either. I saw evidence of debris that clearly predated our ownership of the house. We also got a sanitizing treatment, and I have to say that really seems to have made a difference in the "freshness" of our whole house--my kid and my husband noticed, and it smells better several days after (which means it wasn't just a fragrance treatment). He took very detailed care in (pardon my non-expert explanation) the furnace/AC internal fan/coil unit, and remedied the problems that poor cleaning had caused. He also explained why we had experienced water leaking from the AC unit this summer (better than the HVAC guys who came to clean it and fix it earlier), and I have a lot of confidence that we won't have further problems because of the deep cleaning he did inside the unit. I am looking forward to working with Mighty Duct again, and now that I "have a guy," I will be sure to keep up this maintenance moving forward with confidence. One note for other folks: my house is smallish (at the $450 minimum), and I did pay extra for the sanitizing, and I chose to pay with credit card. Anyone else paying with CC should know that (as a small business), they have to charge back the CC fees, so my $500 service cost me $515 to pay with CC. That was my choice, and you should be informed before you make your choice of payment as well."

"Fantastic job! I am hooked. I have cleaned my carpets myself but this cleaning was so much better. I removed the small items like end tables, but the gentleman from Dry Step moved the heavier items: couch, chairs, desk. The gentleman who did the work was so courteous, patient, and very helpful. I had so many questions, and he took the time to answer each one. I also had a room that needs the carpet replaced because of the age and stains. He took the time to run the cleaning machine over the worst stain and much to my surprise, it actually removed it. I will definitely hire this company again."
