"We found Victors Roofing during our search for roofing companies and noted the high amount of positive reviews and feedback and even though it was clear they were going to be on the higher side as far as cost, getting the job done right was the most important thing to us, so in the end we chose to go with Victors. I'll go over the project and both the positive and negative experiences we had with Victors Roofing. Project: 50 Year Premium Package House - Remove 2 layers of rotting plywood and install new layer of OSB and new shingles Garage - Remove 1 layer of shingles and install new shingles Positive: Honestly, the roof(s) on both our home and garage now look awesome (We're pretty sure our neighbor's both hate and envy us). Sales Communication: Thorough and polite. Workmanship and Products: Both were great. No complaints. Punctuality/timeliness - Project was scheduled and completed very quickly (1 week from initial project estimate until completion). Workers were on time and fast. Negative: Damage - Brand new AC unit was not covered properly and was scratched. Warranty - It was not mentioned that the 50 year warranty was only valid as long as you own the home and is only transferable 1 time for 1 year to the new owner (Didn't receive this information until I received the final payment receipt and warranty information). Cleanup - We have a dog, so cleanup was important to us. Overall it was good, but could have been slightly better outside. Attic is full of debris (Wood slivers from the plywood that was removed). Cost - Overall the cost was really high. I understand that companies markup products they sell/install, but charging $85 for a sheet of OSB that typically costs $16/sheet is an incredibly high markup. Final Thoughts: We love the new roof on both our home and garage and hope it will last for years to come and makes us feel better about the high cost of installation. Would I recommend Victors Roofing to others?: Yes. I can honestly say that even with the negative items mentioned above, given the high quality of workmanship and products used, I would still be comfortable recommending them to anyone looking to replace their roof that wants/expects it to be done right and not worry about shoddy workmanship."

"A representative from Avalon Roofing, named Chris Greening, was the first person to stop by for a roofing and gutter estimate that I'd requested from many companies. Chris was right on time and when I arrived home from work he had already surveyed the job that needed to be done and was on the roof taking measurements. Ultimately, the shingle that I wanted and needed was in "short supply" and not readily available (Pandemic related issues). Chris knew that he might not be able to fulfill my request but still put in the time to explain "in detail" all the facets of proper installation and warranty - Avalon offered a 50 year warranty. Of the 6 people that I talked to, Chris was the most knowledgeable and dedicated and followed up with me consistently, over the following days, with valuable information. Ultimately, Avalon's pricing was the "most competitive" at $10,800 for the premium shingles and a 30 foot gutter install with downspout. The other companies ranged in pricing from as low as $9600 (not premium shingles) to upwards of $16,000 for the premium shingles with gutter installation. *For reference - this was for a home with two roofs, upper and lower, that required 60 bundles of shingles, one piece seamless gutter with downspout and single layer roof tear off with 3 Chimney flashings to replace.
