We also discussed it when we were setting the appt. we were told that it wouldn't be a problem that they could stretch the carpet. When they showed up to do the job he said he was never told they may have to stretch the carpet, but he thought he had his stretcher with him. Well, nothing was ever mentioned to us any further. The guy cleaning the carpet should have mentioned to us how bad it was "bubbling" up as he was cleaning it. Clearly this is something he would have noticed. This was our only issue.
