"I had an appt. set up that I couldn’t make an made an attempt to cancel prior. The day of I received a text asking if we were still meeting today. I texted back saying I thought I had canceled but could not meet that day. I received 2 texts back that were not professional, the 2nd text stating I should be more responsible. I waited 2 days and called the guy back (Rick) and discussed the situation. I did ask him if that was an appropriate response he provided and he said probably not. I then hung up. I received more texts back that were not professional so I called again to talk to him. He states he never received a cancellation from me but I did make an attempt at the number I thought was his. I’m not sure what happened and I asked him if he was so desperate for work that he treats all cancellations like this. Rick was really only interested in letting me know how irresponsible I am. That’s his end game. That’s the message he wanted to hammer home to me. He said he wasn’t on his way when he called the day of to confirm so I’m not sure what his issues are but he really likes to play the irresponsible customer angle. I would avoid this business at all costs, you never know what kind of text/call, etc. you will receive, unless you prefer to deal with junior high school behavior. With this type of mindset, you probably don’t want him in your home either."

"It could not have gone any better! I requested service on Sunday, the mailbox was installed Monday afternoon, the next day! The homeowner was very happy and the work looks excellent. I would definitely be happy to use this service again and would highly recommend!"

"I would not hire JP Frisch again. The handyman who was sent to my home arrived one hour late. He was friendly and seemed to complete all of the projects without a problem, but after he left, I looked more closely at the painting in the bathrooms and was extremely disappointed. It was extraordinarily sloppy. Some areas were not completely covered. He didn't tape any of the edges, so there was paint on the bathroom tile, on the medicine cabinet, on the towel racks, on the ceiling, and on the door frames. When I complained, the owner never apologized, but agreed to send someone to fix the problem. No one showed up for that appointment. When I contacted the owner, he said that the handyman didn't have my address. We made another appointment and that time, the handyman did show up. It took him more than three hours to fix all of the painting mishaps. Last week, after less than one month, the storm door closer became damaged again. When I hired another handyman to fix the problem (which JP Frisch refused to fix), he explained that the door's closer had broken because it had been installed with extremely short screws, rather than long screws that would keep the closer secure and fixed in place. Thanks a lot, JP Frisch! There's no way I'd hire JP Frisch again. What a terrible experience!"

"Working with Beaty Home Improvements was an excellent experience for us. Everyone is so busy these days. I called three possible handyman companies, and Josh from Beaty was the only one that even called me back. Josh was super responsive and kindly found a place to work us into their schedule. A recent storm had knocked one of our 2nd story shutters down and we had a floodlight bulb that was high up that had burned out. I don't have a ladder to reach those areas, so I elected to try and find someone to take care of those items for us. To make the most of their time coming out, I also decided to go ahead and have them remove our old kitchen sink and install a new one for us while they were here. During the project I elected to go ahead and have a new disposal installed as well. Josh scheduled Kris for the work, and Kris arrived a few minutes early for the job. Kris quickly and creatively worked to resolve any little challenges encountered during the job, and he worked diligently to complete the tasks in a timely manner. He was a pleasure to chat with while he was here, and I am very pleased with the quality of his work and the care he put into it. I wouldn't hesitate to call Josh/Beaty Home Improvements if I need additional handyman work completed in the future."
