"Behncke has completed a half dozen jobs for me in the past.  The work team walked  through the  area double checking the jobs that needed  to be done.  They covered the ground where they would  be working so when they finished, they left  nothing behind except the fine work they did.  They broke open the cracked areas of the stucco, and in most cases on the north, they were able to apply 1 layer of hand mixed concrete.  The south and west sides had large patches of of cracked concrete.  When they were removed, I could see the wall of the original wood house built 103 yrs. ago.  The crew had to replace rusty wire;  they filled the areas with several layers of concrete.  Fortunately the weather was with them all 3 days. I like the way the guys worked together and kept me in the loop.  They were on hourly wage, even so they worked quickly but carefully and deserved every hour of pay. I like Behncke Construction:  small group of seasoned workers, reasonable rates for QUALITY work, and  nothing left behind but  a surface ready for siding.  Over 35 yrs. I have always chosen smaller, local companies whose workers have been with the company for various lengths of time.  Over the the long run, companies like Behncke Construction and their employees have improved my home and thus my neighborhood.  I know the siding company will appreciate they can do quality work because the underlying surface was done with care.  Hats off to another successful quality job completed by Behncke Construction, Inc.! <br />"

"I hired American Waterworks for crawl space encapsulation in my home. I highly recommend this company, there top notch, professional, courteous, kept the work area clean. Shane is a representative with the company and helped me through this crawl space encapsulation process, he made sure I understood everything, what the job entailed from start to finish. Then I met with the job foreman on installation day, the installation crew were professional, courteous, and did a fantastic job (my crawl space looked like the pictures in the book they sent me). The crew worked hard to get the job done and finished the job ahead of time. After the job was completed, Shane followed up with me to make sure I was happy with job and if had any follow up question. "ALTHOUGH JACK SEEMED OVERWHELMED AND HAD TO RESCHEDULE THE ESTIMATE, ONCE HE DID COME, HE SPENT TIME WITH US TO EXPLAIN WHAT HE WOULD DO AND ANSWER OUR QUESTIONS. DUE TO WEATHER AND OTHER CIRCUMSTANCES HE WAS ABOUT AN HOUR LATE, BUT HE DID CALL TO TELL US. WHEN THE WORKERS CAME TO COMPLETE THE WORK, THEY WERE LATER THAN WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE ON BOTH DAYS (AND DID NOT CALL TO TELL ME THEY WERE RUNNING LATE). WE THOUGHT THAT THEY MAYBE COULD HAVE DONE A MORE THOROUGH JOB COVERING OUR STUFF THAT WAS IN THE BASEMENT TO KEEP IT PROTECTED FROM THE DUST, BUT ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT JACK HAMMERING CONCRETE IS MESSY. OVERALL THEY DID A DECENT JOB CLEANING UP THEIR MESS. THE EMPLOYEES WERE ALWAYS POLITE, AND COMMUNICATED WELL WITH WHAT THEY WERE DOING AS WELL AS WHEN THEY WERE LEAVING FOR THE DAY. THEY ALSO DID A FINAL WALK THROUGH WITH ME WHEN THEY WERE DONE."

"The guy that they sent off to do the work was not very knowledgeable. I had the work done before so I knew what was supposed to be done. I actually told him how to do the baseline. It ended up coming out alright. I have another company do it a little cheaper but they don't do our area anymore. They're on time in everything. I would probably not use them in the future."

"The work went very well.  We had a few rain delays, but that could not be helped.  Also we were coordinating other work with another contractor (see R and R Concrete) that sometimes caused delays. They showed up when expected, excavated one side of the house and dug holes on the other (walk out basement) for the piers.  When finished the yard was repaired as good as could be expected for St Louis summer. I have a little work to do on it now that it has cooled off. I had to have cracks repaired inside and concrete work done on the outside.  The people they recommended did wonderful work. <br />"
