"The entire team at Engineered Foundation Solutions was amazing, from start to finish. Everyone was very personable and professional. Shannon at the office kept everything running smooth and communications were always polite and timely. The crew, Colin, Chandler and Randy worked extremely hard and never hesitated to give you their undivided attention. They took the time to answer any questions or discuss any concerns we had. We certainly felt comfortable welcoming them into our home. Despite some bad weather days, the guys left the work area clean and dry. We just can't say enough about just how great these guys are. This project was a big undertaking for us, Jeff and Bob are the main reason we selected them for it. The attention to detail, planning, and execution is evident from the moment you meet them, and carries through to the completion of the work. They set their own standards high, guarantee their work, and follow through. Engineered Foundation Solutions exceeded all of our expectations, and we are forever thankful for their knowledge, hard work and kindness."

"Home and changes are fine, but footer leaks and had to install sump pump and dehumidifier with full encap in crawl space. Also, builder didn’t use full dimensional lumber, but used ijoists without fire protection. Carried plastic gas line through the crawl space wall. Used 5x5 wooden piers to hold up my home instead of building block piers. Had to install jack posts to cover for this."

"C&M is my go-to tree service. I called late Monday afternoon and today, 2 days later, they trimmed and shaped 5 huge evergreens in front of my home. They were friendly, respectful, quick, efficient, and very reasonably priced. The job-site was well-managed and left in pristine condition. I am thrilled with the work and could not be happier. These folks are the best. I highly recommend!!"

"Joey, Ryan and the crew were prompt, professional, responsible, hardworking and consciencious; all very pleasant to work with and easy to communicate with. We had no issue with them the entire time they were performing the job, which took a few days to complete. <br /> <br />The night we watered the lawn for the first time after hydroseeding, it poured down raining and washed a good part of the newly seeded lawn away. In despair, we called Joey the next morning. He came a few days later to inspect the damage and promised to reseed/overseed the badly washed off areas in about a month. As promised, the crew rolled back in about 5 weeks later to aerate and reseed/overseed (dry seed) the damage areas without giving us a chance to pay them extra. <br /> <br />I waited a year to do the review so we could have a good idea how the lawn would turn out. The rye grass has mostly died off now and the fine fescue is generally well established, though the drought this summer did stress it. Not too much weed except in the areas where the hydroseed and good topsoil were washed off that first night. We might need some overseeding and weed control soon. <br /> <br />Overall, we are well pleased with Joey's work. Although email and phone correspondences took some time, Joey is trustworthy and reliable. He is a man of his word and a firm handshake, the good old fashion way. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Masontown, PA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
