He took his time, did a very good job, was neat and pointed out slight stains on the furniture that could not be removed (sofas were older and had been in storage for months). "This is part 2 of a previously submitted review. We were preparing our home for sale but were delayed by the Covid pandemic. We finally had Matt return in late spring to finish painting. I was concerned because we had refinished our hardwood floors, but Matt was beyond respectful to our home and he and Jair did a wonderful, clean and thorough job. People have commented on the quality of the paint job and it's because of the thorough preparation of the walls, banging nails back into the walls and using the best paint. Matt also spent valuable time on things that enhanced the look of our home and brought it up to date. For example, he replaced our two 1960's era thermostats with more up to date models with digital displays. The research required to find compatible thermostats was not easy, but Matt persisted and it created a new, more vibrant look to our home. This scenario was typical of everything that Matt and Jair did. I want to caution readers that Matt may not be the least expensive estimate that you will get, but the value that one gets is well worth it. The proof in our situation is that we put our house up for sale in September and had 4 offers within the first two weeks. One of the offers was above our asking price. Much of the credit must go to Matt who is truly a "Master Handyman.""

"Arnie and his crew of dedicated professionals laid out a beautiful stone patio at the back of our home. It included building two stone walls and a circular shaped stone path with steps. Arnie carefully laid out plans for the stone work as well as designing a lovely area with new plants and trees and a lovely rock garden. The result is a beautiful oasis that looks great. His crew was professional, always on time, worked non stop and always cleaned up the debris at the end of the day. The entire job took about one week. We also had some old bushes removed from the front of the house and replaced with new ones. Arnie also used all the remaining soil and mulch for other areas of the property including grading one side of the house and sprucing up our driveway plants. He was personable, open to suggestions and very easy to work with. We would definitely use Long Island Elite again. <br />"
