Andres clearly explained the issue, walked us through the solution, and completed the work efficiently and professionally. Communication was excellent from start to finish. He was very responsive, coordinated seamlessly with our cleaner, and was mindful of our guest check-in schedule. He even returned a few days later to remove the tape and confirm everything had cured properly, which really shows the pride he takes in his work. The workmanship was solid, clean, and done with great attention to detail. The shower glass panel now feels very secure and looks great. Pricing was very fair, especially considering the quality of the work and level of service. "As a landlord that lives off island nothing could be worse than having a major issue with my rental property on Maui. Maui <br /> Handyman Services was referred to me by a friend with a strong recommendation. After speaking with Joe Avena on the phone he agreed to inspect the property and provide me a detailed quote. His quote was itemized and very professional, he put me at ease to the point that I was comfortable not flying on island to deal with the situation. Joe understood that I needed to get my tenants back into the property as soon as possible, so he laid out an aggressive plan to satisfy all of the issues with the property. He completed several of the major jobs ahead of schedule; Replace and paint several ceilings, walls and laminate wood flooring. All repairs brought the home back to pre-flood condition, and in my opinion better than. There are few situations less stressful than needing to count on someone from afar, Joe took away all of my concerns and actually completed all the jobs below his original quote. As a result I was inclined to offer Maui Handyman Services several other jobs; he stripped, power washed, filled, primed and painted the deck - again well below any other quotes I had received. Replaced with little notice appliances in the home. At this point I have come to rely on Maui Handyman Services for all of my needs with this rental property, due to the fact that Joe possesses unquestionable integrity, and displays a level of professionalism that is truly refreshing."

"<p>I contacted Jim after my original contractor cancelled the job after I had already ordered all of my cabinets from Home Depot. Jim promptly got into my condo, looked at the job, and gave me an estimate ASAP.  I hired him without ever meeting him based on my phone conversations with him.  Jim even took the time to go to HD and meet with the kitchen design people to go over my project and get drawings before starting work.</p> <p>Jim started the project on the exact day it was to start, demo'd my existing kitchen, took delivery of all of the cabinets, installed all of the new cabinets, counter tops, and tile.  He even had a professional electrician come in to double check the electrical work was done correctly.  As I live in California, Jim emailed me pictures and kept me updated every day.  Everything came out beautiful and professional.  Jim even did a few extras that he saw needed doing in the condo. From pictures sent via email, they helped me decide on size, and design elements and promptly sent me referrence since they reside outside my area. "We first saw the Organized Hawaii products at the local BIA Show at the Blaisdell Center.  We were pretty impressed with the products displayed (including hide-away beds, functional storage units, etc). <br /> We had been looking for a trustworthy contractor to build a wall-unit for our daughters' playroom.  we wanted something functional, durable, and nice looking.  Above all, we wanted a trustworthy contractor... a company with whom we could invest our trust, as well as the appearance of our relatively new home. <br /> As it turns out, the entire experience was truly enjoyable. <br /> Now if you have worked with contractors, you already know that "enjoyable" is a tall order... and probably hard to believe. <br /> But I have to tell you... if ever there were a text-book partnership experience, this was it for us! <br /> At the BIA show, we met Brent, who owns the company with his wife.  My wife and I chatted with Brent, and then he gave us a catalog (he could tell we were genuinely interested in their products and services).  We asked him to give us a call in a few days; he did.  We scheduled an appointment, and he arrived to view our home and capture some expectations.  We actually asked him to design three different projects, but let him know we would likely start with the playroom.  He acknowledged our requests, and... five days later, we had three great designs. <br /> Unfortunately, my wife's grandfather passed, and we had to depart for the mainland. <br /> Brent was patient, and even extended the deadline in which we could apply our discount. <br /> Upon our return to Hawaii, we traded emails with Brent and tweaked the design a bit.  (My wife wanted this changed to that, etc)... Believe me: this is not a bad thing.  Remember, this is a custom-designed wall unit.  We were ecstatic to be able to choose, change, and rearrange any and all aspects of the design... including those aspects that had been initially created by Brent and/or us.  We settled on a final design, paid a deposit, and then waited for the project to get started. <br /> A few weeks later (after the materials were ordered and received), the installers arrived for the big day. <br /> It was, hands down, the best contractor experience - EVER! <br /> Yes... and I am trying hard not to gush here... but the experience went over exceedingly well. <br /> Every single one of the installers was overwhelmingly nice, courteous, and professional. <br /> As the job went on (from about 9:30AM to about 5:00PM), the guys worked quietly and diligently.  They took a lunch break, sat outside on the front porch, and then hit the job running again just after noon. <br /> Of course, as they progressed, my wife and I peppered (pestered?) them with project-related questions.  They not only answered each question thoroughly (which can often be a battle in and of itself), they also assured us of the accurateness of the plan, as well as the march toward a beautiful end result. <br /> And what a great end result it is/was!  We love the wall unit.  And as the man of the house, I can tell that they are a truly trustworthy company... a company with whom you can invest not only your $$ and trust... but also the future value of your home. <br /> Bottom line:  Organized Hawaii created an AWEsome addition to our home... and they did it with the style, courteousness, and professionalism that should be the standard in contracted improvements.   <br /> I wish I could submit a picture, but apparently AL does not allow that option."
