"The fence and gate look great and I feel much more secure. The old fence was poorly done (some post-Katrina work so I had to take what I could find) and did not secure my back yard and pool. Tony explained why the original fence was inadequate and why we needed to upgrade (to better wood and more cross pieces). It took a few weeks for him to get to my project but he kept me posted on what the time frame was likely to be. Once they committed, they were reliable and punctual and the job was completed in a couple of days. One note: you do have to pay extra to have the old fence hauled away which was not included in the original estimate. I decided I wanted a few upgrades from the original plan (including a combination lock for the gate so that I didn't have to give keys to anyone who needed to get into the backyard). I would also have had to pay extra to have them spray the fence with wood sealer but I decided that was a job that didn't take too much expertise so I'll have my son do it for me."

"Aleck and his workers just completed a job that involved repairs, woodwork, staining, installing ceiling fans, painting, and more. They even helped me hang playset equipment! I can't say enough good things about their work and their work ethic. They went over and above on each item they tackled, troubleshooting until they had it just right. "We contacted several companies to replace the fence at our residence. Most did not answer the phone, return calls or were not willing to take on smaller projects. Forsythe Fence took our call and were quick to schedule a visit. Al was great to deal with, took all the measurements and wrote a quote while onsite. They had a backlog of work, but we were advised of this. We opted for full replacement of our ~130’ fence. The price included demo of the wood fence and also an old chain link fence. The new fence is 6’ cedar with cap & trim. They replaced all the supports and installed a new gate. The two person crew were nice guys and worked hard. They ran into a few obstacles but never complained and there were no added costs. We have a neighbor who has dogs, so they finished that side of the fence first. The fence is straight as an arrow with no flaws and they left the work site clean. After calling around, it was clear that these fence contractors are very busy (probably more so now after the hurricane). So, I appreciate their willingness to take on the project and great communication throughout. I expect this fence to last a long time! But if in need, I would use them again without question. They have our highest recommendation."

During the estimate phase, even before he secured our business, Mr. Brooks made several trips to the house in order to provide an accurate assessment. He was very easy to talk to and helped us hone in on the scope of the project and helped guide our decision as to where best to direct our attention. Once the project began, the crew was very professional. They were pleasant to chat with over the course of the 8 week project, and always provided great updates on the work being done. "Installers were prompt and worked efficiently.  New installer needed a bit more professional training, since he asked if he could smoke an e-cigarette inside.  When I said "no", he was polite and smoked outside.  At least he asked.  Installers looked a bit "rough" but they wore company shirts and did a good job.  My only problem with this company was that their hours were inconvenient, although they made arrangements to be open when I requested. <br />"
