"<p>My upstairs AC system went down Wednesday night.  I waited a day, hoping it had just iced up an needed to drain.  But by Thursday night I knew I had to call for repairs.</p> <p>I will preface this by saying that I am a Shumate maintenance customer, which gives me  priority on service calls.  However...</p> <p>I called Shumate about noon time on Friday. They said they could come out the same afternoon with a call  30 minutes prior to arrival.  After I received the call, the technician showed up 20 minutes later, about 3pm.  He analyzed the problem, found a bad capacitor, replaced it and was gone by 3:20 after checking that everything was in working order.</p> <p>Let me repeat... I called a HVAC vendor in the middle of August with a broken AC system and it was repaired 3 1/2 hours later.  I would have been happy with a week turn-around.  Fabulous.  Truly extraordinary Service.</p> <p>About the maintenance program...  for a bit over $200 a year they come out twice in the year, fully inspect and service both my HVAC systems, change filters (no extra cost) and give me a report.  And... as mentioned, put you on priority list when service calls are needed.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>I would give these guys A+++ if I could!<br /> <br /></p> <br />"
