"Marc and his team at Exotic Pavers completed, on a time, a fantastic paving job. Due to erosion, all the pavers had to be replaced in our front and back yards. The team was courteous, responsive to my requests, and careful with our landscaping and lawn. Marc offered great aesthetic recommendations, and estimated the job quite accurately. I had received 4 other bids for this job, and Marc's estimate and proposal was the most thorough. I would absolutely hire them again!"

"I have 20 year old paver patios and sidewalks that needed some significant repairs. Owner Dave and his crew are very knowledgeable and did a terrific job. Workmanship was excellent and communication was as well. Pricing was very reasonable. There are a lot of new paver installers, but if you need brick paver repair, this is your contractor. Highly recommend Northern Brick!!"

"Contacted Dan and he responded back that day. The next day, he came out to give an estimate and we signed the contract. The week after, his crew efficiently repaired the masonry work on our front porch patio. He was very responsive, gave great advice and we are very satisfied with the work."

"We have a large, heavily wooded and therefore shady back yard. It’s about 1/3 acre in Rochester Hills and is laden with weeds and brush making it nearly impossible to maintain. We called Rob for a quote and to help paint a vision for design. This is where Rob shines. We only knew that we wanted a focal point, fire pit area for entertaining and to reclaim much of the unusable, untamed land. Rob brought in pictures, samples, walked the property with me and my Wife multiple times as we refined and honed the vision. With this type of larger scale land and hard-scaping it would be nearly impossible to design the entire project ahead of time. That’s where our faith in Rob and the Sinacori crew is essential. Rob actually grew up in our sub and between that, seeing many of their projects first hand and knowing their excellent reputation we moved forward with a $25k+ project that we felt was a reasonable price for the scope of work. The best way for us to describe the outcome is one word - oasis. The project took 6 days in total and started with brush removal and excavating a path to what would become the dramatic fire pit focal point dug out of the side of a sloping hill. Each day Rob would meet with us multiple times to update on progress, ask questions and plan for the coming stages/work. This gave us time to think and plan and made for an incredibly collaborative relationship that translated into a project that has exceeded our expectations. Each day the crew was on time, stayed the expected duration, were efficient and thoroughlu cleaned up at the end of the day. Very impressed with their work ethic. I can’t possibly do justice to the process and outcome in this write up other than to say - if you are considering any size project please give Rob and the Sonacori Team a call and trust in their incredibly skilled, plan full, efficient and professional approach. Thank you for an incredible job Rob and Crew!"

"Reliable has been top notch throughout all the projects we have had done or quoted. <br /> Jim was extremely professional. He showed up exactly when he said he would, and was a pleasure to talk to, even offering helpful info along the way. <br /> Reliable was very reasonable in terms of costs as well. They were quoted against other local companies and either were the lowest, or close to it on every project so far. <br /> The support staff at the office is top notch as well, with Michelle and Taylor responding to emails extremely prompt and with the appropriate information the first time. <br /> The Sod looks great even after a hard winter, with the sprinkler system performing well. The landscaping / brick walls turned out great, as Jim was creative working within our budget. <br /> Unfortunately, the only problem we have ran into with Reliable is that they are booked quite in advance (which given their quality does not surprise me). I would definitely recommend using them, just plan a little in advance and you'd be fine. <br /> All in all, a pleasure to deal with! <br />"

"I explained to Stacie exactly what I wanted, and he agreed to do it.  It took a little longer to get the job started than we had originally talked about, but anybody who has every hired any contractor should understand that these things are going to happen.   <br> <br>Stacie is a good guy and an easy person to talk to.  Although we sometimes had trouble immediately getting hold of each other. It was never difficult to communicate with him. <br> <br>95% of the work was exactly what I expected.  When there was one small discrepancy Stacie immediately got it straightened out so it was exactly what I wanted. <br> <br>The crew at my house seemed like great guys that I didn't mind having at my place.  I've had experiences where I wished people didn't know where I live because they seemed shady, not these guys.  They even helped out a couple of neighbors when they needed it. <br> <br>I was very pleased with the end-state of the project.  They cleaned up in detail and left the place looking great.  I tend to notice small details and apparently so does Stacy because they left the site looking really good. <br> <br>We haven't had rain in the 24 hours since the project was completed, but I'm confident that my problem is fixed.  If it's not, I have every confidence that Stacie will be back to make it right.  If I need more work done in the future I won't shop around, I'll go back to this crew. <br> <br> <br>"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Maybee, MI

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
